The Meinl 6" Practice Pad feels just like playing a medium tension drum, replicating the feel of playing real drums, enabling you to train your muscles precisely, thus making it possible for you to play drums exactly as you want on your real drums one day.

You can practice in peace with its controlled volume for quiet practice - hearing is key for improving your chops and feeling, so this pad accommodates you to hear every note clearly while still being quiet and effective, so it is perfect for quiet practice at home, in your apartment, or in the studio.

This pad is made of silicone and a modern composite base to maintain the natural tone of sticks, so you can experience the richness of a drumstick wood tone, rather than rubbery or clicky sounds as you make contact with it.

You can mount this pad to any 8 mm threaded post stand (like a cymbal stand) - it's also got a soft 1 mm foam pad underneath, so you can play on any flat surface, such as a desk or table.

Surface - the top pad has a 6 mm thick silicone surface for a medium rebound, and the base has an 18 mm thick solid MDF composite with 1 mm thick soft foam padding underneath - great for those who play drum sets, marching drummers, and other instruments

This is an awesome It took me about 6 years of abusing my Evans real feel practice pad before it finally started to come apart, so I decided to give this one a try, and I do not regret it

There is more feel on this practice pad, and to my ears it sounds better when tapped than real feel. There is only one downside to this machine it is a little louder than Evans real feel. But the difference isn't enormous. This is the kind of recommendation I would suggest.

Describes two kinds of Meinl percussion instruments

The products are generally average. The other one is made in Germany and is of high quality and durability. One is made in China, the other is utter garbage. China is the manufacturer of the one I received. Then why does Meinl percussion allow this to happen? That is a very disappointing experience for me. Using drumsticks, the sound is loud, the rebound is bad, and the rubber is worn out if you use it for a long time.

Practice pad with the best results

The practice pad I use most often is this one. With amazing rebound and tone qualities of a real snare, this is an amazing drum. There are more buzzes at the edges and more tone at the center.

I found exactly what I had been looking for

The friends I have have some real nice $60 pads, but these ones I bought for myself are the ones they all love. I like the way it works and it's great for when you don't want to play loud music. The size is great, and if you are not interested in the 12 inch, they offer a smaller one. It can be positioned on one if you have one, but I do not have a stand for it.

I really like the way it's I like it. Heavy and nice. This model has a firm rubber top so it is a little louder than others, but not too loud.

The practice pad is excellent! A very high quality product. There's lots of weight to it, so you know it won't run away from you while you are playing with it. It's a nice muted sound that still allows you to hear your beats clearly. For the price, I highly recommend!.
