It has been a while since I've used this computer A Yamaha HexRack II 7/8-inch cymbal holder and boom that holds 750 cymbals A clamp with a diameter of 1 inch. Looking at the RS85A rack, I do not think that it will work because it has round pipes and the clamp is made to work with the original HexRack or the HexRack II which each have The rs85a rack may vary in performance depending on your mileage. I have not tried it.
Since the clamp is intended to work around a 2" diameter Hex rack bar, it probably won't fit. Cymbal stands that are 3/4" in height will fit in the receptacle, however the clamp cannot be clamped onto cymbal stands.

In the previous product, rubber was used, but plastic was used instead. Sadly, I went back to the previous product because I liked it.
The hex rack clamp that is shown here is a later version. A primary difference is the simplicity of the plastic insert. It can be easily inserted. This clamp is very sturdy.
