There is nothing light about this thing. It looks like it is intended for use by professional touring musicians. My practice studio uses it, and it feels a bit In live settings, I would have no problem using a laptop like this, but when I practice, I just use it as a laptop.
Simply by the amount of steel used to construct this thing, it is worth its weight in gold. Meinl uses a minimum amount of chrome in this laptop stand for my drum set. It is rock solid and the design puts the focus on my drums without detracting from them. It is a well-designed product and although it is probably the most expensive laptop stand on the market, no others can compare.
There is no better stand out there than this one. Simply put, it's the best.
There's no use having another one a tank will last you forever.
