The one I've been looking for all these years should have been mine! It is great to have an attachment for cowbells. There is padding around the hoop to protect it. As a result, I can go back to having a cowbell on my Bass Drum without tearing it up. When tightening the hoop, use a wing nut to keep it in place. Make sure not to overtighten as you may strip the nut. Because I do not overtighten, I have not run into that problem. Whenever I hit the cowbell, I just tighten it enough so that it won't slide or move when I hit it. One of the other advantages of the padding is that it serves as a shock absorber. As a result, the cowbell "gives" a bit and is more likely to vibrate.
It was made of cheap materials. The event did not last The drums have been a part of my husband's life for over two decades. The two drumming sessions he had did not even last him two minutes. The quality is poor and the materials used are cheap.
There is a lot of flexibility in its mounting because it is made of a thin, flat plastic that fits very smoothly on the edges of your bass drum (or any other flat, thin surface you wish to mount it to) and stays tight for as long as you might need it to. In spite of my efforts to tighten my cowbell after each play, it almost always falls down no matter how much muscle I put into tightening it. Thus, I have docked the review two stars. There are times when a single forte hit with the stick on the edge of the cowbell can cause it to fall Besides that, it took it maybe a half minute to ride down the cowbell all the way down the holder until it is resting on my bass drum. That's not good at all. There is a possibility that this is the fault of the mechanism built into the cowbell (not the holder), but as far as I am aware, it's pretty much the same mechanism from You'll be able to make it stay if you really tighten it, don't beat the crap out of it, and don't break the cowbell. Cowbell riders and heavy metal bands are not the right fit.
A black drum set with black heads, a black cow bell on a black Meinl holder, music to the bones! Meinl is well known for their high quality products. The cow bell holder is no different. Everything was EXACTLY what I wanted, and it was at a very good price. My thanks also go out to Amazon for handling the transaction. You did a great job as usual!.
As a result of a 44-day period Since I've had a dry spell for years, the cowbell has finally grown. Although this stand is too short for my cowbell, it would hold a second cowbell if I had two, so it may be enough for me to There may be enough in that. Yet, I doubt that will happen.
I like the way my husband plays the drums.
My cowbell is in the way, but I need it for the cowbell. The program could have been more flexible and had more options. You might want to make it a bit longer, so that you can mount it on the end of the bass drum to sit between the toms rather than up on your lap or in front of you.
