I was not a fan of this brush

One brush was missing from my first order. The brushes are not packaged in tubes, but on cards, like a dollar store serving spoon set, with the brushes held in place by a metal clip. Even though the retractable nature of these makes it slightly less desirable, when one or the pair gets lost in the packaging for shipment (which seems to have happened), it's Having said that, the real reason I subtracted two stars was the fact that I found it difficult to make my left brush stay arranged. Adding to the problem, both brushes then retreated inside their handles as I played. As I play many gigs that require brush only, that frustration became too much. I would have loved them if they would have held their positions as I extended the left one and fannied the right because I found the wires to be light gauge, which makes a really nice sound when swept across my We were unable to work together due to their intransigence. One of the striking similarities is to the Regal Tip Yellow Jackets, which I loved, and thought these might fill the void since Regal Tip seems to be having production problems. If I wanted to make a permanent attachment, I'd probably fan them out and use JBWeld. My love for them would grow a lot if they did that.

We like the way it feels and how durable it is

It has a nice feel to it. Drummers with this sound on the drum head make the sound of jazz playing from the past. There is a great deal of responsiveness from them.

As far as I recollect, the pull rod action was not as good for me as it is for others

I found the pull rod action to be a bit less responsive than many other users, but then again, no brush feels this good on my hand. They are top notch when it comes to everything else though.

Music has always been my passion but lately I have been focused on jazz & r&b. It is hard to believe that these brushes are so good. In addition to jazz, I enjoy world music My favorite band is these guys and they are my go-to pals. The next time I purchase more, I will do so.
