It probably won't be possible, unless your drum is deep or you're short. With the arms spread flat, the top of the stand is only 26" from the ground at its maximum height. Suitable for drumsets, not suited for playing from a standing position.
I believe that to be true. A total of 21# of hardware is in this bag. Yet lightweight enough to be used on a regular basis.
Memory locks are not included with any of the stands, but you really don't need them anyway since the stands should be broken down to the shortest possible length before being placed in the bags. By the way, these are awesome.

As a big fan of lightweight, durable hardware, I’ve acquired a lot of Axis aluminum stands over the years. cannot be carrying around drum and cymbal hardware that weighs more than twice what I normally pay for them. Yamaha has just released this snare stand as part of a new line of aluminum stands. Despite the fact that everything is well built, and everything works as intended, the unit is very well built. I use this stand for my practice pad because it is light in weight and is 35% lighter than its steel counterpart. I will replace my kit hardware with this new line of stands, however, should I need to. Congratulations Yahama on a great execution.
I like it because it's much lighter than my heavy duty Peal stand, and while it's not as sturdy, it provides enough stability for my snare and the These rolls will reduce the weight of your hardware case and are perfect for gigging. Yamaha will be my gigging kit and all of my hardware will be aluminum.
I would be happy to carry this hardware anywhere I go if I ever left the house.
This is a very well-made and exceptionally light watch. This is just what I need for a Handpan Drum and it works great. That's a definite recommendation from me.
This is a great stand, extremely sturdy and stable Using aluminum, the weight is light. The older you get, the less you need to carry! The stand is lightweight and I ordered it because I liked it so much.
Yamaha has introduced some great new stands that are lightweight. It is only left to purchase a boom stand for our set to be complete.
Ideal for gigs. Good for light stands.
