In the standard Remo box, it's just the head.
It's a hand drum that can be mounted to a stand (like a conga). I have a Meinl Percussion Stand with Full Height Adjustability-- but no mic or headphones. A Chinese product cannot be guaranteed to be of high quality The rubber brambles provide more stability, are adjustable to multiple drum sizes, and can use with any size djembe Warranties of up to one year

My 14 x 6 printer has a nice lowish mellow tone to it which works for me. This is a 5 snare set. Then, to add a bit more sparkle to the sound, I added a snareweight Junior brass on one side and a snareweight M1 on the other, and with a 16-strand Puresound snare I got the perfect combination. I cannot speak to the longevity of these yet, since they are reported to bubble (on the top coating), but I have used them with very light maple sticks, so I am not concerned about that.
I bought a Fiberskyn head for the very first time. Brushes have a nice feel to them. It's a snappy game Hopefully it will be a great fit for this application. The volume of Blues, Jazz and Funk should be lowered. As soon as I do some gigs with it, I will update.
It has brought me a great deal of confidence, with this fine piece. I would recommend it to anyone. In addition, the price is fair! Just bang a little bit every day, nothing more, nothing less. It is so exciting to play with your own rhythms. It is so relaxing as well.
For sound and feel, I prefer the Thins, so unless you want to spend a considerable amount of money on real skin (and deal with the headaches), these should work well for that market niche.
Despite the fact that it has a nice deep tone and is fairly soft, the skin is easy to tune.
Toms on my Jazz set have been switched from ambassador weight to diplomat weight. The tone of the diplomat appears to be brighter and has a slightly longer sustain to me. Keeping the volume low without pressing too hard allows me to get a great tone.
The product was exactly as described, the shipping took off quickly, and the packaging was nice. It is recommended.
Its smooth, good locking surface is ideal for brushes, and its head stays in tune without wear. One of its remarkable features is that it does not show dirt like other frosted heads may. They look as good as new now as when I put them on my kit a few months ago.
