Using gretsch maple kit with the remo suede emperor on top of the evans reso on the bottom, will the sound be good?

My maple kit has the exact same pieces as yours, Joseph. I like its warmth, but it is also I found the flavors to be intense The sound is great and the looks are great too. This should be helpful, I hope.

This newer logo (badge) with the line under the name is the most recent. If it says Level 360, that's the right way to put it

There is a 16" bass drum in my collection. What is the possibility of using this ?

I don't see any reason not to. It is pretty sturdy and thick because it is two plys thick it makes my 16 inch floor tom sound like thunder, so imagine how it is going to sound in that 16 inch bass drum.

You have a wide open punch there! The renown maple batter side Tom used on a Gretsch 130th anniversary guitar. It is believed that Phil Collins formed his sound with the bottom of his head being sliced off with a razor blade. You can also use this head on a 10", 8" and a 4" Tomahawk 12" in diameter.
