The Evans G1 Coated Drum Head, 12 Inch, was recently purchased by me. I had the Remos on my set for a day.
I have in fact replaced both snare heads on the 14. Being honest, I have no idea. When it comes to Evans G1 CD heads, you can't go wrong!.

The G2 is the way to go

The Evans coated G2 heads came with all my other toms and I wanted to try them on this one. No matter how it was tuned, this still had a foul sound. There is nothing I hate more than that. If only I could go back in time and stop myself from getting it in the first place.

The reso heads I like the most. Toms can sometimes be riddled with "wild overtones" that can overpower a player's tone. These toms control the ins and outs of the toms.
