The lugs are great, but they are hard to find

I have a Pearl BLX series drum set with long lugs, and this is the perfect replacement for it. Originally, they came with long lugs. As soon as they began to deteriorate, they had to be replaced. The single lug design seemed to be the best choice for me. The design is appealing to me. The classics continue. I really like how these look on the bass Their solid construction and attractive design make them a perfect choice. The problem is sometimes they aren't available, so I have to buy them through Amazon where they are available. It would be good if more were made. One more drum needs lugs to be changed before I switch to the bass drum.

Exactly what I was looking for

Pearl has a custom set that is over a decade old. There was a problem with one of the claw mounts on the front. Although it was not an exact copy, I had given up trying to find one, and even Pearl was unable to find a replacement for it. This guy works great, so I'm back to hearing my bass drum as a bass drum again.

Easily fitted the drum after drilling. Had to drill to fit, but once they did, they worked fine.
