Due to the glowing reviews here and on other sites, I took a chance that I would like this pedal. I like the sound of this bass drum pedal, but I find its responsiveness to be somewhat lacking. It has to be that sweet spot between speed and power/oomph, and I'm trying different types of beaters with it. It seems to me that it's too light and too easy to use so far. I plan to use a standard DW beater for my next beat Because I think the throw should have some weight and resistance, I think the sided beater should also have some weight and resistance. The Iron Cobra 900 would have been a much better option for me in the end. It may not be my thing to ride long boards.
I received the product sooner than I expected, and it was of high quality. There are some pretty stellar features in this pedal. This is the one that I chose over the 910 after considering it for like 4 days. In addition to playing my buddy's 910 speed cobra double pedal a lot, I also wanted something with which I could practice Only the weight of the beater makes a really big difference to me. The cobra coil can be purchased separately via Amazon if you are really interested, but honestly it does not seem like you need it. In addition, it does not come with a hard shell case, but rather comes in a Tama box and is a neatly designed tool.

Those pedals are awesome. After tweaking, the action was smooth with just the right amount of resistance. It was a hassle-free transaction with the package arriving before the estimated date. My suggestion is to add the coil/spring as an option and to charge the extra cost as well. There's a bit of a hassle in placing two orders when one would have made the job easier. Other than that, it is a decent product. I recommend it.
