I already have a DW9000 double bass pedal, as you can see. These are both incredible pedals. The DW9000 is fantastic, but I was able to improve my speed and power after learning to play on Pearl's P932 pedal and then upgrading to the DW9000. br>br>Fast forward to now, and I already own the yellow and purple cams that are not included in this kit. When attempting to adjust the P932, I purchased the incorrect cams by accident. This pedal was purchased for a very reasonable price. Because there are so many bands playing at some of the shows, I have to use the kits that are provided. I've discovered that I also require adaptable equipment. The fact that this pedal can be broken down into two single pedals is one of its selling points. If there are two bass drums instead of one, this will be helpful. Alternatively, depending on the music, I might just want to be lazy and use only one pedal. It depends entirely on the gig and the band with which I'm performing. My Pearl 2052C Eliminator pedal feels like it wants to race, and I love the fact that I can adjust it so much. I also appreciate how long the pedal board is, as I wear a size 13 US men's shoe. With limited space, doing a heel toe is difficult. I'll keep both pedals, but I'm trying to stick with the Pearl theme since I use a Pearl Maple reference kit. Beginners may notice that this pedal has a lot of rebound and will need to adjust their pedals accordingly. To go fast and sound good, you don't need to spend $600. I've seen drummers accomplish incredible feats with far less.
Because the DW pedal was too harsh on my ankles for long sets, I switched to the $600 Pearl Demon Drive (direct drive) pedal. The Demon Drive is extremely well made and very smooth, but after playing on it for at least a few years, I couldn't get it feeling 100% how I wish, and% made, is incredibly smooth, and my playing quality is far superior to that of the DD. Maybe it's because I prefer chain restaurants to independent ones. This pedal appears to be amazing so far, whether it is direct drive or not. br>br>So far, my only complaint (which isn't really a complaint) is that there are so many ways to customize the feel of this pedal that I'm almost afraid to mess with it.
If it isn't broken, don't fix it, according to the old adage. It was true until I was able to try the Eliminator Red Line Series at a gig after the drive shaft broke and I was forced to use the Redline DP for the remainder of the set. By the end of the set, I was completely sold on them. The Ninja Bearings are on another level, with an infinite number of setting adjustments allowing you to perform any style of music with ease. Play with fluidity, speed, and force!.
I've tried all of the major brands, and I'm convinced that Pearl makes the most durable, long-lasting, responsive, and simple-to-use pedals available. It's money well spent. br>br>I'm a professional rock drummer who performs and records on a regular basis. I am a 30-year-old woman who has recently retired. The amount of customization on this Eliminator Redline can be overwhelming, but if you give it a little patience, you'll be surprised how quickly you can get it into your sweet spot. br>br>A hard-sided carrying case with pouches for tuning keys and beaters is included if you want to keep it looking nice. (Plus, there's a bonus. ) There's just enough room for my favorite pair of headphones in there. ) However, if you don't want to treat it like a precision instrument, you can just toss it in the hardware bag because it's built like a tank. The Redline, like all Pearl hardware, is designed to withstand years of use. Having a good time in life. br>br>I haven't had a chance to play with the Demon pedals yet, but I'm not sure what they've changed. The Redline, in my opinion, was a great success.
I bought a few pedals to try out since I've been away from drumming for a while. The DW 9002 was the only pedal I preferred over this one, but it costs $200 more than the pearl, and the price difference wasn't worth it when the DW only felt marginally better. The DW was a little smoother and felt a little more solid overall, but that's not to say this pearl is weak or flimsy. Because of the interchangeable cams, I can configure this pedal to work like almost any other, including the DW 5000 (accelerator AND turbo) and even the 9000. br>br>I'm a huge fan of this pedal.
This pedal came without the beater, and an Amazon customer service representative said he couldn't contact the seller because he didn't have a way to contact him. (Which may seem strange, but. . . ) That said, the pedal is extremely well-made, and I adore the design. Once the replacement beater (which I had to order separately) arrives, I think I'll really enjoy it. Because I'm rating the pedal rather than the seller or customer service representative, I'm giving it five stars. If you decide to get one of these, I don't think you'll be disappointed!.
The best pedal I've ever used in every way. I used to only use Direct Drive, but these have convinced me to change my mind. Although the Ninja bearings are fantastic, they do not feel as light as the Demon Drives. All of the cams are included. This is fantastic. Stock rat rods are a blast to drive. These are highly recommended. Slave pedal is just as good as the main pedal in terms of reliability.
It appears that you are not getting a lot of bang for your buck. In a sense, it's a form of remuneration for the.
