I can't seem to find a way to adjust the beater angle on this pedal. It's just to detach the mechanism where you'd normally adjust the beater angle right above the spring tension.

200 (2010ish?). ) and this one has the most natural feel of the bunch. The footboard is a good size; most inexpensive pedals have small footboards, but not this one. It has a light action that I enjoy, and I immediately lowered the footboard by moving the chain to the bottom hole on the cam, which is how DW allows you to adjust footboard angles. This, I believe, will alleviate some of the complaints about the beater hitting their feet. I also reduced the spring tension to the lowest setting, which would normally allow me to adjust the beater to a 45-degree angle, but this pedal does not allow you to do so. However, once you begin to play it, you will be blown away! This is the most comfortable pedal I've played in a long time! Singles and doubles are simple, and after a few minutes of getting used to the feel, I was able to hit 16th notes. If this pedal holds up, I'll buy more of them rather than the more expensive ones in the future. br>br>I went with this one because of the pins that prevent bass drum creep and the solid baseplate. I understand that there aren't many options, but it's possible that Pacific has already figured out the best settings because I'm having more fun than ever. and all of this on a shoestring budget! It does not have the same feel as my DW 3000 (which I despise). Prior to this, my favorite sensation was pearl. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: After about 4 months, this thing is starting to feel a little janky. It has built up a lot of resistance even without spring tension, and the beater doesn't bounce back as well. I purchased two of these and will now have to replace them:.
You can't go wrong with this. Super clean doubles are a breeze with this pedal, which is fully adjustable to your preferences. It's also quite substantial, so I'm confident it'll withstand some abuse. I've used Axis pedals in the past, and this one comes close in terms of playability. This pedal has made a huge difference in my life. br>br>EDITbr>I've had this thing for about a year and it's still in great shape. It quickly became my favorite piece of the entire drum set after I took it on tour with my jazz/funk band. Even though I'm far from a professional, I can get clean and loud doubles in before I even warm up. It comes with a light beater, which I particularly like. If you put your mind to it, it'll still pack a punch, but it'll be light enough that you won't lose any articulation.
Because of the feel and the price, this pedal has left me very satisfied! I've been looking for a new pedal for a while, and my first choice was, of course, a DW 3, 4, 5, or 9,000. But I'm fed up with paying so much for a name. As a result, it's possible that many drummers are unaware of this - PDP is a product of DW's creativity. It's the same stuff every time. Lexus is made by Toyota, just like Toyota makes Toyota. This is the situation we're in. So put your money where your mouth is and buy this pedal. Although the weight and bounce back are ideal, the action is still quick. THE Pedal IS VERY SMOOTH. THIS ONE SHOULD BE PURCHASED!.
It's a well-made, well-priced pedal. The pedal is well-made, smooth, and responsive. It's a good, comfortable size that stays in place. There aren't any squeaks or clanks to be heard. Simple to tweak to achieve the desired effect - Right out of the box, it worked perfectly. With little effort, I was able to dial it in to a feel that was very similar to my Axis longboard. Heel up, heel down, heel-down, heel-down, heel-down, heel-down, heel-down, heel-down, heel-down, heel-down, heel-down, heel-down, heel Everything is fine, from head to toe. If you can do it on another pedal, you should be able to do it on this one as well. Gear won't help you improve your technique, but it will get in the way of the good stuff. That is exactly what this pedal does. This is a fantastic deal.
It's smooth and lightning fast, and it does pretty much everything you ask of it. The only thing I'm having trouble with is the consecutive 8 notes. It has an accelerator-style cam and a very smooth footplate, making it ideal for sliding your foot to achieve extremely fast doubles or consecutive 16s. Get this pedal because it's a steal at this price!.
I alter the settings on a regular basis to try out different sensations. I like how the bass drum has a quick-attach feature. It is simple and quick to complete. So far, everything seems to be going swimmingly. Even as a backup pedal, I recommend it.
The pedal has a great feel and a solid hinge, which are two features that are hard to come by in a pedal this price range. Keep in mind, however, that this pedal does not have any position adjustments. I'm fine with it because it's pretty much set up the way I'd do it.
This pedal has a fantastic feel to it that is neither too heavy nor too light. My single pedal doubles sound incredible now that I've practiced a little more. Love it!.
