There is a lot of durability in this product. There would be no damage during shipment for me. Having owned my for a little over four years I have dropped it a lot (it was about shoulder height when I bought it). Basically nothing is wrong with this except for some crayon damage in the texture of the top (so your bum won't I had one of my sons take a crayon to the top of the picture when he was about two years old. A little bit of it stayed, but most of it came off.

Then and now.
There was a terrible buzz and a deadness to it when it first came out of the box. Taping the strings to the interior of the tapa reduced the buzz to an extent, but not all of it. No, I'm not talking about the sizzle of a snare. I'm talking about an annoying "bzzzz". In order to get a nice slap sound, I also had trouble getting the top, left corner to lift off, so I held a piece of cardstock between the left faceplate and the faceplate on the right to assist in lifting the top off. This tapa's corner was clearly warped, as can be seen in the image above. I decided to remove the string and add my own snares after I got tired of the buzzing for a couple of weeks. My $15 snare was a 20 string 14" snare that had been cut The shock I experienced when I removed the faceplace was incredible! Something terrible had happened to it! Due to the lack of flatness, they were unable to lay So I mounted the snares on a rod mounted on the inside of the drum. It sounds MUCH better this way. As a result, I am not sure how it was supposed to sound due to the fact that you sent me a realize this budget model needs some improvement, but I think the quality control could be improved. The design is great, but it took me a lot of research and a couple hours of work along with a whole lot of trial and error to get to this point.
i am very happy with my Meinl Percussion cajon. As a percussionist and multi-instrumentalist, I have played a variety of instruments For almost 40 years, she has been an instrumental composer and arranger. After I recently became acquainted with the work of vocalist Susana Baca, I discovered that the cajon forms the basis of Afro-Caribbean music It is a music from Peru. There is, in fact, a cajon that is a wooden box with a sound-producing mechanism An opening into which a hole is formed. There has probably been a time when all percussionists ran into a cardboard box that contained an interesting variety of percussive tones to explore, and we then spent some time experimenting with the tones and constructing rhythms using these sounds. The cardboard box served as a stage for impromptu music. The cajon is very similar to that cardboard box we played earlier, only that it is made to be as durable as possible to allow it to be used as a seating position, as the instrument is meant to be played on. The sounds you'll hear if you just slap it, or sit upon it, are going to be annoying to most people because some of them are quite loud and rumbling if you don't moderate them in a musical way In terms of sounds and textures, I believe this cajon offers an interesting and diverse range of options for anyone who is musically astute and committed to exploring the rhythms around them. Due to the fact that I have never played another cajon, I cannot compare it to any other cajon. Furthermore, I do not yet have any experience with particular cajons. It's a guy who beats on things to extract sounds and use those sounds to create rhythmic patterns. It seems to me that my Meinl Percussion cajon is thoughtfully well-made This building was built with many tones, which I enjoy exploring. All is well with me- It has been a great investment, and I am looking forward to more growth in the future.
Acoustic sounds are very nice with this. This is why I am interested in how I learned of it. As my family and I visited a church, we heard wonderful hymns, a beautiful cello solo, and a nice percussion piece that was not loud on the other hand This was a very intrusive performance. I had never seen a cajon before, and when I first heard the sound, I couldn't understand where it was coming from until I realized the percussionist was literally His use of a single microphone near the pulpit kept the bass steady and even while gentle and appropriately adding trebles or snare to the sound. As a result, it was beautiful sounding. A decision was made) and went ahead with it. With excellent sound quality behind guitar, acoustic bass, ukulele, and other instruments, Meinl Percussion HCAJ1NT is the perfect choice for acoustic and church groups alike—or for recording in your home studio. Despite the fact that we still have much to learn on it, YouTube offers a plethora of free lessons, but with the specially constructed "brush" drum sticks, it is a wonderful home percussion instrument.
