There's a lot of comfort and a wonderful feel to this beater. The feel and attack of the pedals are excellent. I have them on my double pedal. Wood beaters have been on my playing list for decades and I would highly recommend them. The majority of what I play is blues, funk, rock, and a little bit of low- to mid-flight Tempo metal, or at least that's what I call it.
It helps create a solid sound when the beaters are used. A bass drum impact pad is highly recommended for use on an acoustic bass drum. If I were building an electronic kit, I would use a beater covered in felt. A wooden beater is used for giving an acoustic drum more volume and attack. A pad with an electronic keyboard does not require that. If you want to emulate the attack and volume of a wooden beater, you can adjust the volume and add effects.
Birch wood is used to make them, according to what I understand. However, maple could possibly be present as well. The kick is nice and punchy, so you'll like them.

I am glad you liked it! The wooden or round beaters I've used are not my style. My Speed Cobra double pedal needed two of them so I bought two of them cheaply. The weight of these is perfect. I was worried that they would be too light, but they have a nice heft to In the event of any changes, I will report that as well, but so far they seem to be working.
The Tama Speed Cobra Double Beaters are made to replace them. The construction and build quality is very nice. We put them to the test with the Evans Onyx EMAD and Evans Hydraulic Bass heads, and they sound distinctly different and great with The price of $9 shipped for these items was an incredible deal, so I found them on the warehouse deal section. It was a low price so I could test if I liked them or not when I wanted to try them out. Today, they are part of my metal playing every day.
My music is heavy, and while I'd love to tell you how brilliant I am, I just can't. A scale of 0 to 1 There are ten drummers in my circle who are exceptionally forceful, and I am probably no more than The post could be made more durable, so I would be more than willing to do.
the A drummer and a KD As a result of using the stock felt beater on the Yamaha pedal that comes with the kit, the rubber "head" of the kick pads 8 was becoming damaged. Roland recommends a plastic beater over felt in order to prevent the rubber pads from wearing out from abrasion. It's always been my preference to attack acoustic heads with a wood beater over felt, so I decided to give this a shot. In comparison to navy, the dual surface plastic beaters are much more economical, and they work very well. It feels just about perfect in terms of rebound, weight, and playing feel.
Despite being lightweight, the chair is solid and reasonably priced. Increases the size of my kick without slowing my pedal - giving it that extra round and fat "thump. ". This beater is well worth considering even as a second or additional one.
The attack is very heavy, massive, but your heads are not going to last very long unless you protect them.
The metal pole was too thick to fit in my pedal because I had not realized how thick it was. This will have to be shaved down or I will have to come up with another Despite how cheap it is, it seems to be well made (particularly given that it's a wooden beater).
In reality, there is nothing wrong with the way these beaters are constructed. It looks like they're well made and will last for years to come. They produce a very nice sharp and strong attack, which is exactly what you would expect. I find them heavy, and they are a problem for me. The fact that I hadn't thought of it when ordering is unusual. This may be an advantage for some, but I have found my pedals to be much less responsive due to their extra weight at the beater. This I believe is all due to the added weight at the beater when It may be the ideal beater for you if you want a heavy beater that seems to have more cutting attack while also being heavier than plastic or felt. The weight of them, however, is just too much for me.
