Questions & Answers

A strap drive pedal I have is circa 1970's with a strap that is 1 1/4" wide and 1/8 to 3/16 thick, does anything exist that can replace it?

The pedal I used on my TAMA is this one. It took a bit of carving to make the screw holes for the fittings, but the peel is now in good working order.

These will fit my Speed Cobra 910? Would you mind if I got one with double pedals?

The answer is unknown to me. bridge the gap between a pedal I've had since the 1980s and my newly purchased pedal. The drum pedal has been reliable and I did not want to spend $100+ on the replacement of something nice.

This strap is wide and long, how long is it?

I received a 3/4 x 7 5/8 bag strap, with holes spaced at 6 7/8 inches on center. I don't know why this information was not in the description. Straps like this are great. A leather punch gave it an extra hole for my Tama pedal, so I attached it to my backpack

Do you know how long the strap is?

Unfortunately, I do not remember the dimensions of the object. Nonetheless, I knew it would fit onto my late 80's TAMA strap drum pedal (had to make a hole, however). Since then, there have been no issues. I think that was 3 The last time I wrote that was four

This is a tough and durable material
4/5

This is my experience after putting these pedals on my speed cobras. They feel awesome! They are light and more responsive, which gives you an idea of how direct drive pedals will feel. A chain drive would have the power of a lighter, faster drive, but we don't need to sacrifice speed for power. While I was using the em for a while, I noticed a change in power and drive. I felt like it had low power and I didn't get the thump I desired out of it. So I switched back to my chain drives and they have been fine. I do recommend them if you're looking for a new feel or a retro feel pedal. Everyone has their own preference, this was not mine nor were these my favorite, but they may be helpful to some. Oh, and you do need to trim this fyi.

Designed to fit Yamaha FP6110A perfectly
5/5

The strap on a Yamaha FP6110A was broken and I bought this to replace it. The shirt fits perfectly and feels as good as the original, even though it's designed differently. In the original nylon strap, there are double holes at each end of the strap, which fold over to create one hole on each side (presumably for It has only one hole on each side and is shorter, though when the folds are factored in, it comes out being the same length as the long strap. It is also more durable, as there is no need to fold on each side. There aren't three holes as shown in the picture, as other reviewers have noted. On the other hand, for the Yamaha FP6110A pedal, three holes aren't needed, so the rating remains 5 stars.

This is such a neat little accessory
5/5

I find this device to be quite amazing. This gave me the feel I'd always wanted so I put it in my DW 9000. My only complaint with the pedal is that I always felt like I had to work a bit to get it to play like it should be. makes it feel the way I always wanted it to, which means I no longer have to fight with it anymore because the stiffness causes by double chains has been eliminated. To me, the pedal feels like an extension of my foot, similar to the sensation of holding a perfectly balanced stick in your hand. Although I had to cut a little bit from each side to make it fit perfect I don't think it is bad for heavy hitters. I've read the strap was not good for heavy hitters but that is not true. There will be a change in your pedal feel, but it will be Thanks to it, I now get to play the way I always wanted to - Rather than burying the beater and deadening the sound by burying it, it can be tapped off the head. Getting one of these years ago would have been a great idea and this equipment is essential. This is what you need to know!.

The doctor ordered what she needed
5/5

It was used to replace the chain on a Yamaha P850 dating from the late 1990's, which had corroded links. Make yourself quieter. The smoothest part of the body has less mass. Here's the deal A player at the head). By using this strap and performing basic maintenance like lubing the bearings, you can convert this pedal into a fast and silent one. If I were buying this instead of any double-sided tape I'd replace my current tape I was able to mount it on a chain pedal.

Like a chain but almost as good
5/5

The strap on my pedal is much more durable than the woven nylon strap that came with it. A strong and flexible individual. A minute or so later, it was installed. I now have a pedal that is more responsive both in speed and in Quite pleased with the result.

I don't think there are enough straps available! This was a problem for me
5/5

I don't think there are enough straps available! The belt fit perfectly on my bass pedal after I had trouble finding the right one. I have used it for a few months now, and it has always worked perfectly.
