The giant doughnut-looking spacer that goes on the underside of the pedal (and against which the bottom hex nut screws) was not included in this "complete assembly. " br>Fortunately, I still had the old one, so it worked out.

Bass Drum Pedal Springs that have become worn out are a good replacement

Although it is a little pricey, it performs admirably. There's not much to say about it because it's just a spring with some attachment hardware. It's worth noting that the spring was not attached to the threaded lock bolt; however, using needle nose pliers, I was able to attach the bolts with little difficulty. My pedal has a good amount of tension, but I had to tighten the lock nut all the way to the top.

It's not until you replace 20-year-old springs that you realize how bad they are. Wow! If you've had your pedals since the 1990s and haven't replaced the springs, these are a must-have.
