Questions & Answers

Does the cajon still allow you to sit on it?

It is fine to still sit on the cajon (and should be done). Plates that hold a beater under a cajon are designed to sit under the cajon, and your body weight is what holds them Unlike other cajon pedals, which clamp to the cajon, this one is non-clamp. This pedal comes with a superior mounting system because it can be set up faster and it does not You can sit on the cajon by placing it on the plate.

The cajon on a Meinl jumbo bass subwoofer is thumping, but how do you make it go? What if my "bop" is weak?

If you need to beat a cake, use the flat, not the rounded,

Pedal positioning seems versatile enough to you (angle, distance from cajon, etc.) ?

My opinion is that this is a pretty fantastic setup, better than a cable in the long run. There is a current issue with it sliding away from me, which twists the Cajon away from me. It should be easier to attach Velcro strips to the bottom if I do it

This is another quality product from DW
5/5

As I'm in the Navy and on deployment, I was recommended his Cajon by a buddy since I wasn't able to bring any gear with me. Even though I loved the song, I wanted to make it sound like I was playing a drum kit like I am accustomed Drums have been my passion for about 25 years, so I have learned a lot about both good and substandard drum sets There are lots of drum hardware and products on the market. Since I have more money now, I go to DW because I know I will get what I want the first time around. And boy, they did not let me down! When I was done setting this up, it was just like playing on my normal drum kit. This is the first time I have used a drum pedal on a cajon! You must set- After ten minutes of opening the box, the device is ready to use It takes about 15 minutes. In the package you will find two separate beaters that have different firmness levels depending on how loud the pedal needs A set of 3M Velcro strips is also included in the kit, as well as extenders to increase the spacing between the pedal and the actual beater. There are also instructions for setting up the different sets. Methods for configuring the drums, a bag for carrying and storing, and a key for operating the drums. Beater set will sit in front of your cajon, and the weight of your sitting on it will hold it firmly in place. Consider getting a small rug to connect to the cajon. It is likely that sliding would be eliminated if we went up. There are tons of gears in there, and it's super-fast A simple task. Because there are no cables in the beater, there is no lag, nor is there any chance of cables Lastly, the spring is VERY responsive the adjustments are also very easy to make. What's even better? I only need two minutes to break it all down and put it away compared to the 20 minutes I was spending before. A drum kit allows me to play for 30 minutes at a time. The fact that it's the most expensive cajon pedal on Amazon is probably because it's the best one on the market. As one would expect from a 5000 series DW pedal, it is an excellent You'll be thankful you did once you shell out the extra cash.

My DW 9000 single pedal has been with me for over a decade now, so I would have expected it to be up-to-DW standards
5/5

My foot feels as if it were part of me and I have only needed to clean it and oil it occasionally. Several months ago, I had to buy a cajon pedal in a hurry for some upcoming gigs, so I went for a cable-driven, lower cost A false economy was being made here. I was put off by the latency, and a cable struck me in the middle of the lesson A gig was held during the band's fifth appearance. We decided to go with the DW 5000 direct drive and we are very happy with our decision. DW's pedals are as good as they might get They respond quickly, are detailed, feature a lot of extras, and are built well.

I can only describe it as the best
5/5

There is only one you need to buy! There are cabled versions offered by companies with very good reputations. The cable snapped before I even made it half way through one gig. In addition, I am not a powerful player. As if it were a brick Shi house, that's what this is! One of the best features is that the wireless models are much more responsive. You can do doubles with no problem at all. Kick pedals are as close as you will get to the traditional kind! This is a great product!.

For the cajon drum kit, this pedal is the best
5/5

There is nothing I love more! As a result of my prayers, I have found my answer. It has always been my desire to get rid of a bulky bass drum for certain performance There are many cajon pedals on the market, but none match up to the feeling or response I've been experiencing. I find that the cable remote pedals do not respond quickly enough. It has 3-point attachments that allow for even more options of placement for pedal boards based on your height, leg length, and feet size. DW's Direct Drive pedal is smooth and responsive to your foot technique at soft and loud volumes. The setup for this pedal is easy.

A ton of doors have opened My recommendation is to try it!.

The price is high, but you get what you pay for
5/5

It is the pedals that first made DW famous, and it is still the best. I have been playing 9000s since they were introduced. As far as I can tell, this item is very well made, and there are all the adjustments you could ask for. He even has instructions to convert from right to left. The first few weeks are a little difficult because of direct drive. In my opinion, it performs about as well as a regular 5000 pedal, taking into account the direct drive and the difference in responsiveness between the tapa and the Adapted quickly to the double-thickness feel and was able to use it immediately It sounds like your heart is beating. As an aside, other drummers have given me advice not to bother with the cable version, and the price difference isn't even that great.

Pay attention to the details
5/5

DW would have you expect it. A sturdy, smooth piece that is likely to last a lifetime. Compared to the alternatives, it's totally worth paying the extra buck to get this. A cable-based communication system It is basically a retrofit of kick drum pedal technology to use a bicycle cable as a remote control instead of mechanics. Slipping and fraying of the wire are common problems. With this DW pedal, you will have the performance you need for your specific task.

A cajon pedal that has a very high response rate and is very I was looking for a cajon pedal that had everything I needed
5/5

When I had one with a cable, the cable cracked Replacement cables are hard to come by. Using this pedal, I no longer have to be concerned about that. The last thing I want is to miss the gig in the middle. Moreover, it is very responsive. I use it every week for our weekly songwriters meeting. As well as playing with it, I have no problems with it. The price is a bit high, but it is worth every cent.

I am amazed
5/5

This is the best product on the There were a couple of issues I encountered after using the DW cable kick pedal. My cable did not work properly and I snapped a lug off when attempting to tighten it. Since I couldn't drill out, retap and install a new lug on the existing kick drum (probably my fault), I ordered this beast instead. I find it to be extremely responsive, rather like using a traditional kick pedal on a Has a great sense of syncopation and can do seconds. Make sure you give this a shot The experience will be unforgettable.
