Questions & Answers
Two cimbal stands, one hi-hat stand, one snare stand, and one pedal were included in my package.
Crash cymbals, yes; rack toms, I'm not sure.
I've been doing weekly gigs with this hardware for the past ten months, and it's been fantastic so far! My back, on the other hand, is in good spirits.

This is a fantastic set of hardware. To be honest, I bought the set because it included a snare stand and a kick pedal for a few extra dollars. I was only interested in the boom stands and hi hat stand. br>br>The snare stand turned out to be quite nice, so I kept it and will donate an old snare stand and kick pedal to a school in need. br>br>Now let's get back to the hardware. Very good and stable. I mostly play jazz, so the medium weight might be a bit much for me. Although I do play some outdoor gigs where the extra weight is useful, especially when using a large ride, spreading out the legs and placing one leg directly under the ride cymbal eliminates any wobble. br>br>It's not the lightest gear around, but it's Yamaha. br>br>The hi hat stand is attractive, and the ability to adjust it is a nice feature. br>br>Highly recommended.
I have owned these in the double braced model, and I believe they are ideal for the majority of situations. On one of the cymbal stands, I placed two toms (10 and 12) and a cymbal, and they held up perfectly. The hi-hat stand has a high-end feel to it, and the swivel feature on the legs is something I'm currently using. The previous double-braced model is excellent, but it is too heavy for those who must move frequently.
For my other gear, I usually go with Tama/DW (speed cobra and DW 6000 flat based stands). This package surprised me, to say the least. All of the hardware is medium-duty, but it can withstand the same amount of weight as heavy-duty hardware. One of the stands has a tom attached to it, and it's doing great. It's not going anywhere. The bass pedal and hi hat stand blew me away with their responsiveness and smoothness, thanks to the strap drives. I would strongly advise any drummer to purchase this package: Whether you're a novice, an intermediate, or a professional, there's.
You will not be dissatisfied with your purchase. This hardware is simple, elegant, and extremely durable. It also simply works. Yamaha knows how to make hardware that does exactly what it's supposed to do, and it does it without a hitch. Unlike many other stands, the elbow and tilting joints are made of high-quality castings, rather than stamped metal. As a single person, Even with the boom extended and a heavy, thick ride cymbal on it, the stands are easily as stable and sturdy as some of the cheaper double braced stuff out there. The bass drum pedal is as basic as they come, but with the right spring tension, it can play quite well. It will never feel like a high-class environment. This pedal is fine if you need something that folds up and fits in a hardware bag while still playing well. The snare stand is adjustable in all the right places and works perfectly for holding my 14x5. Snares with a diameter of 5" The snare basket arms can be folded up straight for transport/storage without turning the clamp knob, which is a nice touch. The hi- The hat stand is similarly unadorned, but it serves its purpose well and is very stable and solid. The only niggle, and it's a minor one, is the lack of a hi-fi system. It's a little too easy to reduce the tension on the hat spring adjustment. It doesn't have quite enough "detent," so it moves around in my gear bag while being transported. On the other hand, the included hi-fi system's design is particularly appealing to me. Hat clutch, though the supplied clutch felts were too thick, and I had to rip about 1/8" off of one to get the top hi-tech to work. Even with the adjustment nuts fully backed off, the hat wasn't too tightly clamped. With the stands collapsed and the hi-fi removed, I can carry all of this gear. In a single 14x36" gear bag, with the top tube of the hat stand removed. It's likely that the total weight is between 40 and 50 pounds. 50 lbs? Perfect for a gig!.
I don't write many reviews, but this hardware pack has an unusually low rating in my opinion. This is fantastic. It's extremely tough, and I can't imagine it breaking. It's also a lot lighter than the other hardware I've tried. It's also simple to erect and dismantle. This is the pack to get if you want hardware.
This is an excellent example of a well-written essay. Handcrafted, heavy-duty hardware that outperforms the competition in terms of sturdiness, quality, and fit. You should purchase it if you can afford it. It will be of great use to you for many years. It's akin to comparing a Sherman tank to a tricycle when comparing this set of hardware to other companies' "starter sets. " Please believe me when I say this: This is a piece of mind that is drumming.
It is one company that does not cut corners because of cost, and it is comforting to know that their quality control is maintained, even though they outsource it to other countries. The working assembly in the Pedal and Hi Hat spring, in my opinion, could have been a little better; However, the price would go up. Overall, this is a fantastic value for medium-quality, light-weight hardware.
It is very popular among my son. excellent quality Setup is a breeze. It's a good drum, but it makes a lot of noise.
