There is no way you can fit the throne seat the stands are just adequate. For the past few years I've been dealing with this case, I do 150 shows each Many of them do not appear to be glamorous. The tank-like construction makes it tough.
A locking mechanism is not present. It only has two heavy duty plastic buckles that can withstand a lot of force. You can step on them (Please don't We bought a second one to hold all our extension cords and PA cables because this case has held up so well. A gig in Germany called for me to use the SKB Cymbal Vault case with handles and wheels and it held up well! Rather than risk accidental opening of the buckles, I placed another luggage strap, which is larger and similar, over the case straps. It is highly recommended that you purchase this case or any other SKB product because they stand behind their product. In the past few months, I've had to replace the wheels and buckles on the car. I received a replacement without charge from them right away. I give it a

Although I have just used the case on two gigs, I am unsure if the review is too early because I have only had the case a short while. I am wondering why I waited so long to get this, but so far it has been awesome. The hard case always seemed too bulky to me, and I wondered if my car would be able to fit it in the trunk. Over the course of six years, I used a soft bag with wheels. The wheels on the bag eventually gave out, and the bottom tore apart when it was dragged over ground of all types. I knew it was time to replace the zipper when the zipper finally gave out the other day. When you have a ton of doubles, it's easy to make With braced stands (and want to fit everything in here like a double pedal, large throne seat, etc), the larger size may be best. But if you have an average setup, the smaller size will be fine. The retractable handle is great and seems durable. Aside from that, being able to stand the case up on end is also a plus.
Put down any notion that you'll be able to save money by going with a cheaper bag or case, and In the end, after watching a bargain hardware bag fall apart for a full year (causing me back pain in the process) I decided to bite the bullet and get a more reliable brand I trust. And I have to tell you, I'm now convinced that I made the right decision. Despite having all of my hardware (I play a four-piece with three cymbals and hats) stuffed into this case, there are no problems. wheels of the cart are also very durable and seem to be able to take a lot of punishment. Over the past month, I have dealt with heavy-duty During heavy duty touring, this thing was as durable as it was reliable. Its size is big enough to accommodate it in a touring van without taking up too much room, but also big enough to not require you to take apart all your hardware to fit it. In terms of my concerns, I would say you still do need to collapse all the stands in the case so they fit, and that the throne seat does not fit nicely. Otherwise, I swear by this case and I won't use anything but SKB in the future.
As an alternative I purchased some inexpensive black truck bed carpeting to line the inside of the case to keep my amps from getting scratched up, and attached it with Velcro. Over the course of almost a year, I resorted to using my case almost weekly. As well as The device has been running for two hours and a half (till the gig ended) with a variety of different small amplifiers and devices. In the meantime, I'm storing unused stands and such, but should a similar gig come up for any reason, it will be ready to go. A heavy-duty vehicle It is well constructed, durable, and has a strong duty rating For any smaller (or older) piece of equipment, this is the best there is!.
The case in question is however There is a mix of double and single bracing in my hardware. Three cymbal stands, a double tom stand, several attachments for specialty cymbals, a folding bench seat and a snare stand that doesn't break apart at the try pod are among the equipment I have. There is no way to remove it. A total of 100lbs of hardware goes into it, and everything fitting incredibly well. This bag has dual handles that make it easy to carry. This thing is a dream come true with its retractable handle and wheels. It is a huge step forward in the loading and unloading of my gear for me. I've used a bag for a long time.
Having other SKB products in my possession (bass drum, multiple snare sizes, toms, etc. My Cymbal vault) was looking a bit worn out, so I decided it was time to Considering the dimensions and reviews of the case, I was concerned about the possibility of not being able to fit my required hardware in it. Then I realized how wrong I was! Here are the documents I have with me The room was more than enough. It goes without saying that I am very happy with the construction of the case, with the price and with the amount of space for hardware storage it offers. What will really matter in the future is how she handles those next few shows.
It's a great case, but you tend to overpack it and you'll likely end up with a weight of over 100 pounds. This case offers an unbeatable warranty and a solid build quality. A DW6000 Lightweight Hardware Kit and a DW6000 Modular Hardware Kit have significantly reduced the weight of this case. This monster is too heavy for me to lift by myself so I will make one more trip to the truck instead. You can lift this bad boy if you're 25 years old. (Old Guy Solution).
Of course, this is a hefty price tag since so much drum gear is. Nevertheless, it is just what I needed and is very sturdy. I was also surprised to find that it is large enough to fit the whole throne as well as three boom stands, a snare stand, and a hi-hat stand. This hat stand and stick bag are perfect for storing hats.
X-rays take up a much larger amount of space You can choose from any of the ones from Considering all of the hardware I was taking to shows, I decided to get this case, which is much smaller than the X one. )
I can fit two straight stands, a boom, and a high-quality stand into the van There are a hat stand, a drum stool (a stand and a seat) and a single pedal (in its case) in there, and 3 floor tom legs in there too. When they get there, the stadium is pretty full and there's a requirement to break the stands down all the way. The only thing I do not like about this is I have to take the stands down so far.
