The answer is both yes and no. As far as I know, you can keep them on the drum, but mine have legs that are not flush with the They stick up a bit above the rest of the body. If you want to buy a drum case, this is probably the best of the best. I admit that it's a little pricey, but with a floor tom that's worth 300, you want the case to take the brunt of wear and tear. (On top of all that, when someone drops the item. worth upwards of 1000, I would say do.
