Her playing completely depends on the horn she is using. In middle school, I would highly recommend that you do not use a 51D. There are far too many holes in this mouthpiece for many 12-year-olds Students in their 14th year of school.
Based on what I saw on the internet, we have a Schilke 50 and It is not a good idea to buy a 50 if you prefer a 51.
