We've been using this ice bucket once every other week since September, and it's been fine. 2019 will be used to store ice for the purpose of hosting a church community group with an average attendance of around 20 people (adults and children). br>br>Within a few months of use, the ice bucket's lid cracked in two spots near the handle (see photo), and the ice bucket's bottom cracked as well. I'm not sure how either of these things happened because we always hand-wash it and the lid and bucket have never been dropped to my knowledge. br>br>So, somehow, once a year, through normal, other- After only a few months of use, the ice bucket and lid were cracked. Regardless of the cracks, we've continued to use it. It doesn't leak, but the ice melts by the time our community group ends (which is usually in about three hours). 4 hrs). However, I don't believe the cracks are to blame. br>br>I wouldn't buy it again, and I wouldn't recommend it, but we'll keep using it because it holds ice, and that's all we needed.
It could be a tad more durable. Such a letdown. As soon as the box arrived, I immediately opened it. omg. The top of the lid has split in half. Yeah, it's a plastic lid, but I needed it for Friday, which is today. As a result, it arrived on time. so mad. ☹🤔.
This was purchased for a family gathering of 20 people during the holidays. The ice in the bucket was still frozen at the end of our celebration (4 hours later).
