Questions & Answers

Is this pan compatible with the Pizzazz 0343003 pan?

That, indeed, is the new pan. I bought the replacement pan at the same time as the Pizzazz just to have it on hand, and we haven't used it yet. The original appears to be in excellent condition. Despite the fact that it was only used once every two weeks.

Is Teflon on top of aluminum the case? I'm not sure what it's made of. ?

It's essentially a nonstick coating that's simple to clean. However, I've found that if people wash them like this (normal "wear and tear"), they have to be replaced, so I just use aluminum foil instead of placing the food directly on the rotating pan. There are no dishes to clean; simply dispose of the aluminum foil.

I have no idea what model the Pizzazz is because it was given to us used. Will this pan fit on any type of cooker, or will it only fit on a specific one?

There is only one model of Pizzazz that I am aware of. It is necessary to locate the model number - The bottom of the unit has a molded-in logo.

On my older Pizzazz, the pan is beginning to wobble. Will replacing the pan fix the problem, or is it the drive spindle that's the issue?

Both the bottom of the pan and the Pizzazz itself should be inspected for connectors or hubs. Unless something is broken or bent, I don't see how the pan could wobble.

You'll almost certainly have to buy it, but I still despise the price and the difficulty in keeping it clean

May 2020 update - It's time to invest in a new skillet. Since this listing is currently out of stock, I thought I'd let you know that replacement pans are now available on the Presto website. At a lower cost, but with shipping costs of around $8. So, while it's still not a great deal, they do appear to be available. br>****
br>As a result, this pan shouldn't be so expensive. But, surprise, surprise! It is because it has the potential to be so. Because if you own a presto pizzazz, you'll need to replace the pan at some point (probably sooner rather than later); and it appears that this is one of the few places where you can get one. To keep these pans from becoming clogged too quickly, they must be carefully maintained. I scrubbed the first one after every use, but it only lasted one day. 5 years (by the end, it was getting a little gross). Even attempting to deep clean the cooked-on food using the "tricks" was futile. This tray appears to be incompatible with oil - When it gets bad, things like the dryer sheet trick or soaking and scrubbing with baking soda/soap/peroxide/vinegar/etc don't make much of a difference (and be careful if you try the latter; We ended up with a frozen pizza that tasted like island breeze after using one method that involved dish soap and then scrubbing and rinsing as thoroughly as possible. oops. However, it was eventually published). Instead, with this replacement tray, I've adopted the practice of using a special stiff scrub brush between each use to ensure that all of the pan dimples are thoroughly scrubbed, in the hopes of making this tray last longer than the first. If you require one of these trays, you must obtain one of these trays. There's no way to get them anywhere else. However, make sure to clean it thoroughly so you don't have to buy another one in a year. (And don't believe anyone who tells you that all you have to do is put foil on the tray. ) There are explicit instructions/warnings against doing so). In the end, the hassle is worth it because the presto pizzaz, along with the electric kettle, is the most used appliance in our kitchen and is useful for a variety of tasks, especially since the oven takes about 15 minutes to heat up.

This is an excellent substitute

It's just as good as the real thing. However, I no longer cook properly on it. I use aluminum foil to cover everything so that when I'm finished, I can pull it off, wipe it down with a damp towel or cloth, and it's ready to use again. I wouldn't have scrubbed off all the nonstick coating on the first one, making it nearly impossible to clean, and then having to buy a new one if I had done that.

It doesn't appear to be compatible with older models! This was purchased to replace the pizza pizzazz I currently own

I tried it on the machine once and was ecstatic, but it didn't work after that. I'm not sure if it's because of the new pan or because the machine has simply died. My current machine is approximately ten years old, and it has never failed me. Unfortunately, I was unable to reinstall the old tray in order to test the machine's functionality because it had been recycled.

My stepfather has the original Pizzazz pizza maker, and I have the newer model, so this is a great replacement part

As a Christmas gift, he asked for this. It was compatible with both the new and older models. It's a different color than the plate that came with the original model, but it's the same plate that came with the newer model!.

Our "Spinney wheel of doom" has been completed once more! I wish they were a little cheaper, but I couldn't find another on the internet at the time, so I had no choice but to pay

My uncle ruined our previous one with a butter knife, and he is no longer allowed to touch it! This machine makes the best cinnamon rolls you've ever had, and it cooks them faster than an oven.

It's great to be able to replace something
5/5

We use our pizza cooker on a weekly basis for a variety of purposes, mostly not pizza! The dimples in the pan, no matter how well you clean them, cause a buildup. It's possible that having two to rotate with will help. We'd have to order a new pizza cooker right away if the old one broke down!.

It's the ideal substitute

This is a fantastic pizzazz pan to use in place of the original. The original had become filthy and grease caked. I tried cleaning it with an industrial degreaser, but it didn't work; instead, it made our food taste like chemicals, and it had to be thrown out. I'll try to keep this one clean, but based on the reviews I've read, it appears that this will have to be replaced every year.

How do people manage to keep themselves so clean? I discovered I could replace the pizzaz pan for a reasonable price after having it for two years, and I did so right away
5/5

I've scrubbed and used every product I can think of, but I still can't get some of the burnt-on debris off. I'm happy with my purchase, and I plan to replace the pan every few years.
