Kosher Salt comes in a wide range of flavors. I use coarse kosher and coarse sea salt, both of which fit through the shaker's holes. I suppose it depends on the size of the salt chunks, but these holes are quite large.

The product arrived quickly, but when we removed the lid from one of the containers, we discovered a mouse turd inside, which raises a quality control issue given that it is intended for human consumption. We thoroughly bleached it and will put it in the dishwasher, but the company should investigate further.
And a slew of utensils that are both functional and appear to be well-made! The dredges, on the other hand. Not at all! They appear to have been a return. Tape residue on the sides, smudges on the plastic covers (a nice touch, as it keeps dust and bugs out), and the edges, all of the edges are sharp, not smoothly rounded. I'll keep and use any potential cuts. They are still in good working order. And you don't want to deal with returning them! Blackstone's quality control, on the other hand, has disappointed me. Alternatively, a lack of it!.
I tried to use them, but they are useless because the lids will not tighten and stay on. Put spice on them, tightened the lid, and ruined the first thing I tried to use when the lid popped off and spilled all over everything. They're garbage, and Blackstone should be ashamed of themselves for allowing their name to be associated with something like this.
These were purchased as a Father's Day present for my father. He likes that they come with a clear silicone cap to cover them and that he can mix and store spices in them. These are simple to clean and are the ideal size.
I love these sturdy stainless steel shakers with the plastic tops. They are large and perfect for outdoor barbecuing. We love these items. The only problem is that it didn't come with a S or P for salt and pepper, so I wrote it on the lids.
These shakers are effective. However, the one we use for salt is stained on the inside, and I don't think they'll hold up to salt, so I'm not sure if they're really stainless steel. The one we use for pepper is fine; the shaker top is a little difficult to put on and remove, but not to the point of being a deal breaker. I'd recommend it, but it's probably not the best salt substitute.
Cheap! As soon as I raised it, the handle broke.
The handles will fall off, or even worse, the main part will fall into your food, leaving you with only the handle. br>br>JB Weld upgraded it to make it stronger than new, but at a cost.
