The pour spout does not have a cap. This is convenient for me because I use a lot of olive oil, and it hasn't gone bad yet. When I'm cooking, I pour from my large bottle into this dispenser to make it easier to measure the amount.

It appeals to me. It's simple to pour in the olive oil, it's beautiful to look at, so classy and elegant, and it's simple to clean: Simply fill a bottle with warm water and use a bottle brush to clean it. Excellent craftsmanship.

Use this for olive oil and you'll use less (I do), but you may want just a smidgeon on the pan. I also use this for a tiny stream on pop corn instead of butter.
The product arrived in good condition, and the stainless steel oil container is very nice. When cooking, it can be used to pour just the right amount of oil. As if you were pouring oil from the glass container it came in, there's no need to overpurify.
Its highly polished stainless steel allows it to be used as a cream dispenser with our coffee serving set as well as an oil dispenser.
