No, I don't believe so. My knife block doesn't have any wider slots, but the fork does have a decent curve.

This meat fork is one of my favorites. It's ideal for shredding chicken or simply removing a steak from a skillet. Clean- It's very simple to set up. I just give it a good wash in warm, soapy water.
