A 19-pound turkey can be lifted with it. It has the ability to lift a 7-foot object. a ham weighing in at eight pounds I've never attempted anything more difficult than those. The turkey lifters are useful because they allow you to manipulate a large piece of meat rather than simply lifting it. I prefer to bake the turkey breast side up for the last hour or so after turning it upside down for the first few hours. This is made a lot easier with these turkey lifters.
You could, but the tines are far apart and longer than normal meat shredders, as mentioned in the previous answer, but you might be able to pull it off.
I looked into it but couldn't find any answers. The headquarters of the company are in Seattle, Washington. The utensils are sturdy and well-made. The turkey lifters did a fantastic job. They are someone I would recommend.
It can be used in either direction. You must, however, exercise extreme caution when cooking meat in a bag. The tines are sharp and may cause the bag to puncture.

Although it appeared to be a sturdy product, the handles melted from the plastic from within while being stored in my bottom oven in a roasting pan when not in use (see photo). br>br>I never had the opportunity to put them to use; However, you should avoid exposing these lifters to high temperatures in any way. For me, it was a valuable lesson.
These lifters work well for getting your turkey out of the pan, but the tines are extremely sharp, and my father and I both stabbed ourselves on them while they were in the dishwasher on the same day. Both of them are suckers for blood. So be cautious of the razor-sharp points if you buy them.
These made it simple to move our tinder turkey from the Roster to the plate. This year's Turkey was a real tinderbox. There would have been a shattered bird on the table if it hadn't been for these. I can't wait to try them out on whole roasted chickens. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM I would recommend it to any of my cooking friends.
These are attractive and sassy (but be careful!). Cooks who roast chickens, turkeys, pork, and beef will find this recipe extremely useful. It's easier to lift the roast out of the pan and place it on a serving platter after making gravy in the roasting pan. When I gave these to my son, they were a big hit. For holiday meals, we have a master chef in the form of my brother-in-law!.
These are great, and despite another reviewer's photos of melted handles allegedly caused by the dishwasher, the ones I received work fine in there. Because the handles are potted with some sort of plastic or synthetic material, I place them on the top shelf to keep them away from the heating elements.
After 20 years of raising our own turkeys and being stuck with the colossal Tom that no one wanted to buy (or cook! ), we finally decided to buy (and cook!) one. ), I finally gave in and purchased a large roasting pan. I decided to take it a step further and forego using large grilling spatulas, sturdy wooden spoons, or towels to remove these massive, hot birds from the pan. On Thanksgiving Day, I firmly inserted a Turkey lifter into each thigh and below the breast, gained a firm grip, and lifted the bird straight up and onto the half-rack. I used a sheet pan to carve from. It lifted so easily that I thought it was coming out of the bird for a split second. Wow! They'll be one of my favorite kitchen tools ever if they don't rust! I saw these on Amazon and decided to order a set. These are excellent quality at an excellent price; we ordered them for all of our family members for Christmas and they were a huge hit. Look no further if you're looking for a high-quality meat lifter at an affordable price. I would recommend these to anyone who wants a nice set at a reasonable price.
It was a true lifesaver. It's not easy to lift a roast. These heavy-duty lifters are capable of lifting even the heaviest Thanksgiving turkeys without tipping them over. I am happy I bought it.
