It sags so much that it cracks. Make sure you don't throw your money away. Amazon does not appear to have a good option for this type of product, based on the number of searches I conducted. 25 of them came to this site, read reviews, weighed the options, and chose this one. It was flimsy, just as I had suspected. This is a very flimsy structure. The ALUMINUM (THIS IS NOT STEEL) was so thin between the thicker handle and the actual tines that I could have bent it in half and severed it completely. br>I was extremely dissatisfied. I got a refund when I returned it. I gave up looking on Amazon for something like this. When I can (or will) shop in a store again (I'm not sure when that will be), I expect to look for a long time before finding what I'm looking for. That is to say: It's simple to use, doesn't burn your hands, and, most importantly, doesn't bend to the point of breaking. br>Does anyone know what brand it is and where I can get it? br>Best of luck to you.
Love it. I was looking for a fork like this to replace an old kitchen fork that was past its prime. I didn't realize how difficult it would be to find a fork like this in a store. I looked like I'd have to make do with one from a carving set or one of the large forks sold with barbecue grills. After my niece reminded me to look on Amazon, I decided to go with this one. It's ideal for turning meat and is very easy to clean. In addition, the price is reasonable.
It's extremely well-polished and durable. I compared it to the old antique one that my Mother gave me, and it's just as thick and sturdy. I'm not concerned about THAT old one because it has lasted two generations. This is a perfect match for all of my stainless steel, which I adore. If you look after it, it will last a lifetime.
We were looking for a strong steel fork to use with roasts and other similar foods. I desired something made entirely of metal, preferably stainless steel. It is a steel fork, according to the description. It "does not bend," according to one review. " Well, it bends quite easily, and it doesn't feel as if it's made of steel. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. This item will be returned to me.
Very solid and well-balanced. It comes in handy for a variety of tasks in the kitchen, but I mostly use it to brown hamburgers and stir noodles. Cast iron or stainless steel are my preferred materials. I like stainless steel cookware, and I give this fork an "A. " It's one of the best purchases I've ever made.
Get your Goo Gone and a green scrubby ready! The low-cost paper label is matched by a sticky that can only be removed with Goo Gone and a lot of elbow grease with a green scrubby. Yes, we soaked the label for over an hour before using it. br>br>A vinyl-based product. The based label would have easily peeled away.
Until I looked on Amazon, I couldn't find one that I liked. I was looking for a fork, and this one fit the bill perfectly. It's dishwasher safe, comfortable to hold, and looks fantastic! I should've started my search at Amazon. I would have saved a lot of time if I had known about it beforehand.
You'd think it'd be simple to find a reasonably priced cooking/serving fork, especially one that looks nice. However, this is not the case. This find has made me very happy. Even though I originally intended to use it for moving heavy roasts from the oven to the grill, it looks lovely as a serving fork.
