Well- I was able to lift 16 pounds while sitting and properly braced. 2 gallons of water (5 lbs). It felt as if it might bend if the weight was concentrated only on the tips.
The fork does not state where it was manufactured. br>It has a pleasant feel to it - It's a little bigger than I wanted, but it washes up fine in the dishwasher, unlike my favorite old wood one.

This fork is sturdy and capable of handling whole turkeys, pork shoulders, and other large items. I wish I had bought two of these because the forks are wider than I expected, which came in handy when trying to pick up whole cuts of meat, chickens, and turkeys with only one fork and another kitchen utensil (like a spoon) to hold the other side. This isn't the high-end carving knife you'd find on a buffet at a five-star restaurant, but it's adequate for daily use in my kitchen. It's made of good materials, has a good length, and appears to be one of those forks that will last a lifetime. I'm hoping my children enjoy it because it will most likely be theirs in 20 or 30 years.
Large utensil with razor-sharp ends (shown on the left as a comparison). It does the job, but I'm only using it in a typical kitchen environment. This one is more likely to be used on the grill. It's well-made and comes at a reasonable cost.
Metal with a smooth, bright finish and no sharp edges. The tines and shaft have a good thickness to them, making them sturdy but not bulky. Smooth and even joints exist between the handle material and the metal. I purchased two, one with a black-and-white pattern and the other with a black-and-white pattern. One is a bronze handle, and the other is a bronze handle. Bronze is nearly black in color. A lighter shade would have been preferable, but that is a minor nitpick.
This meat fork is ideal because it has broad tines that can hold meat in place or scoop under the bottom to move it to a resting board. It also has a super comfortable grip handle. It's sturdy and won't bend, but it's not overly so. Safe to put in the dishwasher. I would strongly suggest it.
It's being used to prepare meat indoors. It'll suffice. The teeth are long and slender. Not a lot of power there. It's fine to turn just one piece of meat. A roast or a whole chicken could not be speared with this tool. Of course, this is a Chinese product.
This is a fantastic product that outlasts every other one I've tried. The handle has a nice grip, and the color isn't quite bronze, but it matches my Analon pots and pans nicely. 👌🏼.
After four uses on hams and roast beef, I'm sold. This was an excellent purchase, in my opinion. A big fork was what we used to use. This, however, was fantastic. The handle is pleasant to hold. Cleaning is a breeze.
The body of the fork flexes erratically (it should be rigid). It's clear that this is a stamping rather than a casting. The body of the fork is not securely fastened to allow for proper handling and it moves around while in use.
