Questions & Answers

What is the difference between this knife and the Global GSF46 Paring Knife?

I was in a completely different frame of mind. The GS- The 38 is the only Global knife I've seen with a nice rounded handle, similar to a traditional chef's knife (just scaled down). I've used the GSF46, and it feels like a table knife, with a handle that's about a quarter-inch wider than the blade. 3/8". I dislike the feel because it makes it difficult for me to make fine, controlled slices with such a small handle. If you're used to holding a small cutting knife in your finger tips rather than wrapping your fingers around the handle, I'm sure it'll work well. Regardless of which Global knife I've used, they all make surgical scalpels feel like steak knives, thanks to their incredible sharpness and ease of use.

Is there a thin handle on this knife?

about three times the thickness of the blade - a stunning blade - It appeals to me.

Is the edge at a 45-degree angle or a 45-degree angle?

I believe the temperature is ten degrees.

To peel the skin off oranges, I've been using a paring knife with a jagged, non-smooth edge. ?

Yes, it's a smooth blade, but it'll come in handy when peeling skins. It's important to remember that this knife is razor-sharp. It should also be sharpened with a global knife sharpener because the blade angle is specific and requires proper sharpening.

Knives are incredible
5/5

The best knives on the market. br>I misplaced mine (did it end up in the trash?). I had to replace it because it was broken. These knives are one of my favorites. Because they aren't cheap, I've been gradually purchasing the entire line. It was all worthwhile. The grip is ideal, and the small indentations ensure that it stays put even when wet. They're not going to fall. They're razor-sharp and hold their edge for a long time.

My favorite knife, with a comfortable grip and razor-sharp edges
5/5

It's been over a year since I bought it, and it's still razor-sharp. It is easy to clean because it is made of a single piece of metal. This book comes highly recommended.

Although I enjoy this brand of knife, and if you already own one, it's exactly what you'd expect, there is a learning curve with the handle if this is your first Global knife, Ama
5/5

It's very comfortable when it's dry, but it can become slippery if it gets wet. You can't really grip them like a western-style pistol because you can't really grip them like a western-style pistol. With such a small knife, a slick handle might not be the best choice. Again, I love these knives and think they're a great addition to my collection.

has that wicked Global edge to it - With proper care, it should last a lifetime
5/5

Global 3. (GS-5) 5" Paring Knife 38): I didn't pay close enough attention to the item page and was surprised when the knife arrived with a bent handle, unlike all of my other Globals. I was planning to return it when I noticed that there are YT videos dedicated to this knife, so I decided to keep it in case I need to give a quick gift. In the meantime, I purchased a (GSF-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX 15) I'm going to use a 3" paring knife as my main tool. in a good mood hand.

The knife with the sharpest edge in the drawer
5/5

Brand global is a new discovery for me. The cost is high, but it is well worth it. In his book Kitchen Confidential (which I read before I had knife money—it's a great book! ), Anthony Bourdain is said to have endorsed global. After using it at a friend's house, I grabbed this parer. It's razor-sharp, to say the least! (Blood is on the way!) ) It's now my go-to knife, and the rest of my knives are envious, embarrassed, and abandoned.

The hand is well-fitting, sharp, and maintains its sharpness
5/5

My wife isn't a fan of knives. The paring knife she used for 100% of her kitchen work went missing mysteriously, so I bought her this one based on the Global reputation. It has made her extremely happy. It's also great for a variety of kitchen tasks, in my opinion.

The overall picture is clear
5/5

Overall, this is a good knife, and it comes out of the box razor sharp. I own two Shun chef knives and a Wusthof set. The Wusthofs continue to live in the same building. The Shuns get the big jobs, while the Global takes care of everything else. This is a fantastic knife.

So sharp! I'm upgrading all of my knives at the moment, but not to Global; I've had one of their knives for about 6 years and have used it for everything because it outperforms all of my others
5/5

Now that I've finally saved up some money, I've been gradually upgrading them all. I just received this knife yesterday, and wow, it's razor sharp! I grabbed it to aid in the removal of the backs of some pork ribs I purchased from Costco, and I was astounded at how simple it was! Cut it like butter, seriously! My knives are now one of my favorites! )br>br>Note: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "innovative Because my hands are small, I prefer lighter knives. If you have large hands, these knives may not be right for you.
