The purpose of these heavy duty mitts was to freeze them. I find it almost impossible to move my hands first thing in the morning because of my arthritis in my wrists. The fact that they are easy to clean is so awesome! I think there is a coating of what I assume is silicon on the outer gloves making them easy to whip or wash. A feature I really appreciate about the gloves is the loops at the end that allow me to hang them up There is a huge difference in size. My recommendation would be to avoid these if your hands are small. Since both of my hands fit into one glove, I feel like I could wear one glove for both of my hands.

Several reviews state these oven mitts are pretty large, yet I am a woman with small hands and I find them to be perfectly comfortable. You can't expect these to fit like gloves, they are This is a great purchase and I feel like it will protect my hands well.

It took just a few minutes to hang them on the wall on one of those 3M wall sticky hanger things (yes, I am a techy), There's no better way to describe it. They look adorable. It's like I'm always about to bake something ) In my opinion, I gave 4 stars because I can see how these are not going to hold up if you hold a hot pan for too long or use high temperatures. In your case, you might want to consider something else if you use more than 400 regularly.

In my photo, it's hard to tell, but these oven mitts seem to lose their vinyl coating when they get hot, and their residue appears on pans and baking sheets. Whenever I remove my air fryer's black broiling tray, I especially notice it. Although the material appears to be melting, it almost appears to be breaking down. This has happened to me at temperatures as low as 350°F. Not only that, but they don't seem to have much of an effect on keeping heat out from the inner walls. I can insulate better with it than with a standard glove when I use it, but even my cheap garage sale gloves and those I bought at the dollar store in college work just as well. Since I've started cooking with cast iron again, I can't pick up anything larger than my 12-inch cast iron pan if I wear these It's been about 3 seconds since I set it down in the skillet before I feel like I need to reset it. The coating on the outside of the gloves is cool, and the gloves themselves look good, but they're neither up to the task for actual use nor do they hold up well under actual Though it has been about a month since I purchased them and they have some wear, I will definitely return them. In addition, there is another factor to consider The shoes have only been mine for a month and it looks like I've had them for six to 12 months.

Honestly, the dog collars were at least 6 years old and washed over 500 times before I decided to use them to play with my young, mouthy German shepherd. They were kind of shredded and ripped apart, so I used pot holders for a while, but very recently, I have been able to use our oven more frequently. My youngest daughter saw me drop all the chicken nuggets in front of her very sad eyes as i managed to burn the hell out of my fingers by dropping the oven grids when the heat passed through the lid holders. Having decided that procrastination could not possibly benefit me here, I decided to stop doing it. In my search on Amazon, I thought about a few mitts and eventually decided on these as they seemed good in their design, colors and seemed quite sturdy. The new ones are much bigger than the old ones and do a good job just like the old ones.
I'm a bit disappointed that it recommends not washing, rather spot cleaning them. I am a laundry and disinfecting freak so it's not too large of a deal to me, but whatever. I consider that what it does is what it does if it keeps my hands, fingers and son's chicken nuggets safe. Here is a comparison of the price and quality of I give it a 5 out of 5 star rating based on the fact that I deem it appropriately appropriate for the date of 09/01/2016.
