Because these bags have a cardboard lining on the long sides that gives them a semi-hard structure, they cannot be machine washed.
You can clean them with a damp cloth, but they cannot be washed.
Before I started using them, I used Scott guard. I figured I'd wear them out before I had to worry about them getting dirty. I haven't needed to clean them in a long time.
I was given one of each color.

These re-usable bags are fantastic! When they're open, their hard bottom and rigid shape are very useful. Three of them will fill the space of a large shopping cart (like the kind found at an American Walmart), leaving room for a 12-pack and another bag on the side (in this case, an insulated bag). I wasn't expecting these to hold as much as they do, but when properly packed, they can hold a lot! They also reduce the number of trips from car to home when unloading your vehicle, which is particularly useful if you live upstairs. They are easy to stow in the car because they fold up flat. The side handles are also useful, but I prefer to use the shoulder straps. The shoulder straps are wide enough to comfortably carry multiple totes on one arm. These come highly recommended by me. I'm not going back to my old shopping bags, which were formless and soft. This rigid tote is far more practical.
I despise plastic bags because grocery stores usually only put two or three items in them, leaving me with the task of reusing ten of them. After just one shopping trip, I had 15 bags. I've been carrying reusable bags from Whole Foods for the past two years. I like the Whole Foods bags (I get a lot of compliments on how durable and attractive they are), but they never stay open, and when I have to use them, store clerks give me the stink eye. These bags are fantastic because they keep their shape and can be used as crates. You can literally toss the food into the bags and stack the groceries on top. The bags are large and easy to load, and clerks appreciate how they stay open. When I bring my own bags, I no longer get angry looks. The only thing I'm not sure about is how to clean the bags. Because of the sides, which I assume are cardboard, I don't think they can go in the washer, so I'm only spot cleaning them right now.
They are fantastic. While I was shopping, I was able to organize my groceries. I also bought the cold storage ones, which fit a gallon of milk and some extras in one tote (I put more in the tote than what is shown in the picture). ) I did purchase the bundle and ended up with plenty of totes for my large shopping trip. I'm curious to see how durable the fabric is; I expected it to be thicker, but I'll update the review when I have more information. br>br>Even the handles held up well against the fabric.
These bags are extremely durable and can support a significant amount of weight. They fold flat when not in use, but they assemble quickly when needed. They have a strong bottom liner that folds up when the bag is closed. When you're ready to use the bag, place the liner on the bottom. I've had no problems carrying heavy items in my bags. The bags aren't as tall as other reusable grocery bags, but that's not a bad thing because they're meant to carry heavier items. I like to use these for bulky items like milks, yogurts, canned cat food cases, laundry detergents, and so on because they are more stable and evenly distribute the weight of the items being carried than other bags. It's the equivalent of having canvas storage cubes with handles. These are similar to those, but they're a bit thicker. br>br>However, I believe they are a little overpriced, given that you only get two bags with your order. I'm not sure I'd want to buy any more than the two I already have, but I do enjoy and use them. I have other bags from this brand that I bought and am currently using for other purposes, and I absolutely adore them. They, on the other hand, aren't as strong as these. I bought a few more of these. .
With normal use, the strap handles have completely disintegrated in that time. I've been buying products from Amazon for years, and this is the first and only time I've been disappointed, as well as the first and only time I've written a review. It's a bummer to buy these ostensibly reusable bags only to have them fall apart, and I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.
However, after putting them to use, I discovered that they can carry a LOT! I was able to stuff a week's worth of groceries into both bags for a family of five! Plus, I really like how long the straps are; it was raining that day, and the long straps made it so much easier to slip on my shoulders and keep them dry! I adore them, and I received compliments on them in nearly every section of the supermarket!.
They're fantastic!! They are compact and take up very little space when they are collapsed. They're well-made and have a good amount of weight to them. They can be held in two different ways, making it easy to transport both light and heavy objects. They fit perfectly in a grocery basket, making sorting your belongings a little more pleasant. Put them back in the same order after you've completed the checkout process. I'm a frugal person, but I think these are well worth the money.
