We were having lunch with a family member who's oven was broken, so I ordered this. I heated a lasagna and a large container of green beans, wrapped them in towels, and zipped everything up, and we were on our way. The items were still warm two and a half hours later, so we simply unpacked everything and ate lunch. As a result, it appears that this is an effective way to insulate hot foods. I haven't tried it on cold food yet, but I'm thinking of using it to keep the heat in. It has two generously sized compartments, which easily fit the lasagna pan and the large Take Along container. This product, which I received a few weeks ago, has completely grossed me out. When I opened it, I saw a mesh bag with the HEB logo on it, as well as a plastic fork and a Tupperware dish. That struck me as odd, but perhaps they were demonstrating the capacity of the container. I went to use the bag today and took it out, but it was molded inside, so I realized it was someone else's dirty Tupperware dish. It's disgusting, and now that I've realized I got a used product, I'm even more disgusted!.

After a year of not seeing a close friend who lives over an hour away and is disabled due to a stroke, I decided to pay her a visit and instead of risking going to a restaurant, I decided to make a large lasagna for our lunch. I baked the lasagna and set it aside for about 10 minutes while I prepared the breadsticks. I did line the carrier with a kitchen towel, as recommended, and it kept the inside of the case from staining. I zipped up the case and set out on my hour-plus journey with the fresh-out-of-the-oven bread sticks wrapped in foil and more kitchen towels stuffed under the carrier's handle. The lasagna and, believe it or not, the bread sticks were both hot when we arrived for lunch. I'm so glad I went ahead and bought it.

This one appealed to me because the strap ran the length of the case rather than being sewn on top. The strsp at the location of the zippers. I was worried that the weight of the dishes would wear down the teeth on the zippers over time. And if it does come loose, it will be while you have a dish in the container. The straps at the bottom of this item provide support. This is a significant improvement. This is a hit with the wife!.

The colors are vibrant and easily transportable on public transportation; the food stayed cold for a long time after being heated for lunch; and I received numerous compliments on the carrier.

Getting my 9x13 dish in was a little tricky. I couldn't use one with large handles, so I had to use one without. It kept my casserole warm while also being attractive and easy to transport to my destination.

I've seen these portable casserole warmers in catalogs like The Pampered Chef before, but they've always been out of my price range. This one's value was too good to pass up! The price is fair, and the product is of excellent quality. It also doesn't have any of the obnoxious patterns that I've seen on others. I'll use it for potlucks and other events in the future!.
