Questions & Answers

What's the best way to get rid of the safety cover? *I discovered a video of someone yanking on the plastic blade at the bottom! ?

Yes, I was curious as well. So I carefully lowered the plastic blade (the flat plastic blade closest to the steel blades) and slowly worked it off, applying even pressure all around. Then I slid the safety cover off my shoulders. After that, you can reattach the plastic blade by re-gluing it. putting the ring in the proper place Thank you for all of your suggestions.

Is it possible to cut meat with it? Is it possible to make a cheesesteak with a small steak?

Hello, this manual food processor is capable of chopping, blending, and pureeing ingredients. Carrots are a good example of a hard vegetable. I recommend breaking up the steak meat into small pieces and chopping it until the desired texture is achieved. I hope this information was beneficial;

Can I use this chopper to make dough?

This isn't going to work for making dough. It's primarily used for chopping, as it's not large enough to make dough with. and I'd become clogged.

Is it possible to make cauliflower "rice" with this?

Yes, I have chopped almonds with this device.

Super- super-simple It is both practical and convenient
5/5

I've experimented with a variety of different pulley systems. Although I've used other food choppers before, the ZYLISS Easy Pull Food Chopper and Manual Food Processor is by far the best! With 5- I had chunky vegetables for salsa in 7 pulls of a handle. The blades are razor-sharp and very effective, and cleaning them up is a breeze. This chopper is made up of only three parts: The bowl, the blades, and the lid are all made out of stainless steel. Simply rinse everything (but don't get the handle or top wet!). ) and let it dry on its own. When you need to chop onions but don't want to cry, this is the kitchen tool to have. Do you require them to be broken down into smaller chunks? Simply pull harder on the handle. The instructions that come with it are simple to follow and come in a variety of languages. It's ideal for a camping trip or when the power goes out. I have a friend who raves about ZYLISS products, and I can see why. This food processor comes highly recommended by me.

This device's top isn't machine washable, posing a health risk
3/5

It is not possible to submerge it in water. It is not possible to disassemble it and wash the parts separately. It literally says in the instructions to wipe down the top piece with a damp cloth if you get bits of food on it, which I guarantee you will. This isn't hygienic in the least. The issue here is that microscopic bits of food will get stuck in the exposed screws on the top piece, and tiny but visible bits will get stuck in the part of the top piece that houses the crank mechanism. Cleaning it completely is now impossible. You will always have bits of food decomposing in the top piece of this device after the first use. br>br>Also, making a decent puree with this device is impossible; I bought it to make pesto and hummus. It doesn't succeed in either of these areas. It'll puree in nine cranks, just like it says. This is a false statement. With 40- It produces something resembling a puree after 50 cranks, but it falls short of the results achieved by the simplest electric food processors. No matter how many cranks you put into it, the blades do not come close enough to the side of the bowl, and small bits of the original ingredients will always stick to the side of the bowl. br>br>If it just didn't make the purees I wanted, I'd give it three out of five stars and say, "Not a full-featured food processor, but a decent food chopper for small batches. " "However, I have to deduct one star because not all of the parts are completely washable. br>br>Excellent concept for a low-cost, small food processor, but poor execution. Don't throw away your $20. Instead, invest in a well-reviewed electric food processor.

If only all food processors performed as well as this one
4/5

This small food processor/chopper does an excellent job. You don't have to scrape down the bowl and push foods towards the blades because of the blade formation. It's almost self-explanatory. scraping. I wish they would make a larger one with chopping and slicing disks as well as a feed tube. br>br>It's well-designed and enjoyable to use as well as to look at. It's so cute, and it sits on my kitchen windowsill above the sink. It doesn't scoot around when you use it because of the rubber ring on the bottom. br>br>It's a little louder than I expected. I wanted to use it at times of the day when an electric food processor or blender would be too distracting, but it's a little too noisy for that; it's not as loud as an electric motor, but it's still noise. It's also important to note that it won't perform all of the functions that a coffee grinder would. Flax seeds and spices, for example, are too hard for it to grind. Vegetables, herbs, and fruits are included in this category.

This is an excellent little chopper for blending a wide range of foods
5/5

My husband has stage 4 cancer (throat) and needs to eat blended foods. We're going on vacation and had a hard time finding electrical outlets to plug the Ninja into. When you add extra pulls, this blends food in a similar way to the Ninja. We've taken it into restaurants and haven't disturbed other customers because the consistency of the food is related to how many times you pull the cord. It piques the interest of the children, who eagerly request to participate. The lid does not lock in place, so you must hold it in place while pulling. The size is about 5 inches by 5 inches, which is a good size. We bought a shoulder bag to make transportation easier, and it's perfect for us. TSA has confirmed that this medically-approved device is capable of holding/chopping TWO burritos at the same time. When the blade cover is applied to the necessary device, it will be able to pass the security check.

The Ultimate Tool for Preparing Raw Food! This is a new addition to my collection
5/5

It's a fantastic way to prepare raw food meals. I chopped up a head of Kale, a beet, cucumber, tomato, red pepper, and garlic just this morning. What I see in front of me is a raw food masterpiece that has been finely chopped. My knife and cutting board are sitting on the counter, doing nothing - unused. By using this device, I was able to save at least an hour of chopping and mincing. Fantastic! It's also simple to clean up. I simply swish some water around in the clear plastic bowl and down it. Done. It's well-made, long-lasting, and has a distinct personality. I'm contemplating naming it. Love it.

There will be no more sobbing
5/5

Cooking is one of my favorite pastimes, and chopping vegetables is a big part of that. Because I live a WFPB lifestyle, I do a lot of chopping, so this will just speed things up. Please use caution because the blades are sharp, and removing the bottom booster arm to place the protective cover over the blades for storage was difficult for'me. ' Slicing my fingers is something I'm terrified of. After a few tries, it might get easier. It's incredibly simple to pull the cord to chop, and the container is much larger than I anticipated, which is fantastic. In addition, the product is well-made. This is something I would strongly recommend to anyone who is careful with their blades. Those pesky bifocals will have to be worn!.

This evil thing should come with a manual on how to
3/5

This evil thing needs instructions on how to remove the blade guard. I cut my finger open in two places and needed stitches. By the way, the whit bottom part of the blade that fits into the plastic bowl comes off, and the guard can be removed by pulling it away from the rest of the blade.

I'm an excellent chopper, so I didn't expect this to be the case
5/5

It was well worth the twenty dollars. I'm an excellent chopper, so I didn't expect this to be very useful. Pay close attention to the instructions. I'll be able to make mock tuna salad with a can of garbanzo beans minced in here. This device produces salsa in a matter of seconds. Before pulling, double-check that the blades are aligned. When you only have a small amount of food, there is an optional gizmo for flicking it up. This is great for a lot of things, but it doesn't work for everything. I believe it is a Swiss design of good quality.
