No, the outside isn't particularly hot.br>br>I touched it with my bare hands after making toast, and it was only slightly warm. The oven is built with two layers of insulation. However, if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "innovative" and "paraphrase." I imagine it would get hotter if you turned it up to maximum for an hour. I'm not sure if that's a good idea for any toaster oven.
When I make pop tarts, cinnamon rolls, or anything else with a gooey glaze, I remove the bottom tray and line it with foil. I placed the puff pastry directly on the rack. Set the oven to toast; you'll need to babysit the oven the first few times to figure out where to put the toaster setting. It all depends on how crunch your pastries are. I remove the bottom tray and dispose of the foil when I'm finished. I hope this has provided you with the information you seek.

There's enough room in there for four slices of regular bread. 6 isn't going to happen.
Previously, I had a convection toaster oven with a traditional pull down door, which worked fine except for the few times my arm hit the door while removing food. This oven's roll-top door is fantastic, and I've only had it for a few days. I've already toasted, baked, and broiled in it, and it's as good as (if not better than) my regular stove oven.
This small oven is incredibly simple to operate and clean. The roll is one of my favorites. top door that allows me to take out hot items safely and easily without risking burns. There are no bells and whistles, and there is no option for convection. All it does is toast, warm, bake, and broil. It's ideal for a single or two-person kitchen!.
A year and a day after purchase, it was completely broken. If you want a long-lasting product, I would recommend staying away.
This toaster oven is one of my favorites. It took me a long time to get used to having all of the space in front of it for a dish, jam jars, and whatever else you need while toasting, which was my primary motivation for purchasing it. It's very nice, and it toasts beautifully. The lifting hatch takes some getting used to, and I've gotten some minor burns as a result of not paying attention, but I'm very happy with it otherwise. The oven must be unplugged after each use, according to an odd note in the instructions. Is this for real? I'm such a worrier that I went out and bought an outlet switch so I wouldn't have to.
The timer had been working for just over a year when it suddenly stopped working this morning. So far, it has continued to cook and toast, but you must manually turn the knob to "off. " Because I don't trust the "off/timer" knob, I've started unplugging it between uses. This oven isn't even turned on on a regular basis. It had replaced a different Hamilton Beach model that was still functional after eight years when I replaced it. So I was hopeful that this unit would last a few more years before it broke down.
We use it every day to toast bagels, muffins, and reheat leftovers instead of turning on our full-size oven. br>While the audible ticking timer is annoying, this toaster oven does the job.
I bought it for my parents as a gift. It's something they adore and use on a daily basis. Before making my decision, I read several reviews and found that the door is excellent and does not cause burns as other models do.
