This toaster oven is a fantastic little device. There were no dents, scratches, or dings when it arrived in its original box. It can supercook food. br>br> My pizza was ready in 15 minutes, with no preheating required. A photo of the pizza is attached. I was unfamiliar with the settings because it was my first time using it. I set the oven to 400 degrees for 20 minutes on the pizza setting, but only took it out after 15 minutes. The part of the pizza I had towards the back of the oven did get burned. So I don't believe it heats evenly, but that could be due to the fact that this is my first time using it or that I didn't allow it to preheat? However, when I took it out of the oven, the entire pizza was cooked, and it tasted fantastic. br>br>I cooked the pizza on the rack, took it out with an oven mitt, and it slid right off the rack onto my cutting board. After that, there was only a smidgeon of a mess to clean up, literally one crumb. There's also a removable metal crumb tray that fits into the toaster oven's bottom for easy cleanup. When it's done cooking, it makes a small ding sound. It also makes a noise while cooking, so you'll always know when it's on. When I am not using it, I unplug it. Leaving appliances plugged in when they are not in use is a fire hazard. But also because there are twist knobs on this, and I don't want the cat/husband to turn it on by accident. Overall, this is a fantastic toaster oven that I would highly recommend. It's a lovely aqua sky BLUE color with no greenish undertones.
This one is incredible, to say the least. I took it out of the box, plugged it in, and set it to toast (empty) for 15 minutes to get rid of the musty odor that new electric appliances have. I made some cheese-topped croissant sandwiches and put them in the toaster for about 2 minutes, and the bread was toasted and the cheese was all melty and delicious! No way? Yes way! This toaster has captured my heart. It has a fantastic appearance and performs flawlessly. I'm in a good mood.
They wanted more than $100 for it, even though I paid $35 for it at Kmart ten years ago. I never expected to enjoy or become accustomed to toasting my bread in an oven rather than a regular toaster, but I do now! It's nice and roomy, but it doesn't take up a lot of extra counter space. The price was significantly lower than any other oven I could find, and I received a red oven, which was exactly what I wanted. It came with a rack and a pan, but I also read another review and decided to buy Circulon pans because they were of higher quality. I've already baked a pizza in it and use it instead of my regular oven to bake my meals. I won't have to heat the entire house this way. I took away a star because the timer button is a knob that you turn, and it's difficult to get exact minutes with it. But it's nothing I can't work around; all I have to do is keep an eye on things as the cooking time approaches. I'm very pleased with my purchase!.
It's lovely, big enough for the baking we do, and it saves us money because we don't have to use our larger oven.
It's interesting to see a Toaster Oven that isn't black or silver. This Toaster Oven is extremely light and portable, making it simple to pick up and place on your kitchen counter. It's only 12 pounds, I'm guessing. Fingerprints can be seen on the Silver Door Handle. br>br>On Amazon, there was a One Day Kitchen Sale for $39. I had my old Villaware Convection Toaster Oven for at least 10 years. It has never caused me any issues. It doesn't appear to be for sale any longer. I believe the retail price was $79. This Galanz Toaster Oven has a list price of $99. My previous convection toaster oven was 1200W, but this new one is 1500W, so it's a little hotter, though they both go up to 450 degrees. br>br>I used to have a digital convection toaster oven with a clock setting. There is no clock on this new toaster oven, but it does have three large knobs for Time, Temperature, and Cooking Mode. The writing around the knobs should be a darker black. It would help you see your options more clearly. While it's cooking, the light inside is bright and welcoming. The light on the toaster oven stays on the entire time it is in use. It doesn't make a lot of noise while it cooks. When the Timer stops, it makes a loud ring in my ears, but I have good hearing. My old convection toaster oven had a larger internal capacity than this new toaster oven, which is a big negative. My old toaster oven rack will not fit in the new one. It's a colossal amount of space. I prefer larger toaster ovens because I prefer to use them on a daily basis over my electric ceramic stove and oven, which heats up my entire apartment, and a larger toaster oven with many cooking options, such as this new toaster oven, is sufficient for one person. I always use the Convection Setting to speed up the cooking process, but you don't have to on this toaster oven. This isn't the smallest toaster oven on the market, and it's also not the largest. br>br>This new toaster oven may have one or two additional cooking options, such as Roast, as well as Bake, Roast, Broil, Keep Warm, Toast, Dehydrate, Pizza, and Convection. I wish there was more information in the included booklet, such as when to use the Convection Setting. More information on how to make the best use of the toaster oven would be beneficial. br>br>The included accessories for this Galanz Toaster Oven are of poor quality, particularly the Baking/Roasting Pan, which is extremely light. One Baking Rack and One Crumb Tray are also included. Both the Baking/Roasting Pan and the Baking Rack slide into one of three levels inside the toaster oven, so you might be able to use both at once on different levels. br>br>After years of trial and error with various Bakeware For Toaster Ovens, I can confidently state that Circulon Bakeware For Toaster Ovens is the Best Bakeware For Toaster Ovens. The Galanz Toaster Oven can accommodate it. It's a heavier, non-stretchy fabric. It's easy to clean and doesn't stick. It's not dishwasher safe, but hand washing it and thoroughly drying it so it doesn't rust takes almost no time, and I've been using it for about four months. It appears to be in perfect condition. I was able to purchase a Set Of 4 Toaster Oven Bakeware Set that included a Baking/Roasting Pan, a shallower pan that can be used as a Cookie Sheet, etc. , a Rack that fits into either pan, and a Small Pizza Pan with vent holes, which I also use for appetizers. On a website beginning with the letter W, for less than $30. You can probably find the same Circulon 4 Piece Toaster Oven Set on Amazon as well, as well as individual pieces suitable for toaster ovens, but Circulon Bakeware For Toaster Ovens is far superior, and it will last; it's the only Bakeware For Toaster Ovens that I will buy from now on. br>br>I like this Galanz Toaster Oven, but I wish the interior capacity was a little larger to accommodate more Bakeware size options, especially for those of us who use a toaster oven on a regular basis and as their primary oven. Why would you want to preheat a regular oven for just one person? br>br>UPDATE: br>br> A MASSIVE CONTRARY - EVEN IF YOU ARE COOKING SOMETHING ACCORDING TO THE TIME/TEMPERATURE DIRECTIONS ON A PACKAGE, THIS TOASTER OVEN WILL BURNS EVERYTHING BEFORE IT COOKS THROUGH. br>br>I MADE A POT PIE ACCORDING TO THE BOX INSTRUCTIONS. IT WAS MENTIONED THAT IT SHOULD COOK FOR 60 MINUTES. THE RIM OF THE POT PIE WAS TOTALLY BURNED IN ONLY 15 MINUTES. BEFORE THEY WERE COMPLETELY COOKED, THE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES STARTED TO BURN. br>br>AS A RESULT, YOU WILL NEED TO LOWER THE TEMPERATURE OR STAND CLOSE BY TO CHECK ON ANYTHING YOU COOK IN IT TO ENSURE THAT IT DOESN'T BURN. br>br>FOR ABOUT TEN YEARS, MY OLD TOASTER OVEN HAD NEVER BURNED ANYTHING. I like everything about it. It works great and you can make a whole pizza in it. It will be especially useful in the summer when a regular oven would heat up the entire house.
