Is this stainless steel or is it really white on the outside?

I bought a stainless steel one, but this one is white.

Is it nonstick or stainless steel on the inside?

Stainless steel is a type of metal.

Is it insulated on the sides and top to keep it from getting too hot?

I haven't touched the sides, but the top does get quite warm.

TOB- Cuisinart Cuisinart Cuisinart Cuisinart Cuis Toaster with 135 watts of power and convection
4/5

For 20 years, we used a toaster oven from a different manufacturer, which eventually broke down. There were no parts available to repair it, and the company no longer made it. So we went looking, and this was the only unit with the right dimensions for our counter space. We went ahead and placed our order, and the following is what we discovered: 1. br>br> 2. br>br> 3. br>br> 4. b Keep in mind that only the front of his unit is painted! All of the metal on the top, sides, back, and bottom is bright. We were able to use this unit because it is on a counter with cabinets overhead and items on both sides. It is not moved in order for it to be used. If you're going to leave it out on an open counter or move it to an open area to use it, consider it first. br>br> 2. The oven is well-built and performs admirably in each of its functions. There was a slight learning curve because some of the rack positions were different from our previous unit. Keep in mind that toast tastes different depending on the type of bread and how moist it is. As a result, if you switch from one type of bread to another, you may need to adjust the settings to ensure even toasting. It's not a big deal and it's simple to do. 3. br>br> 4. br>br> 5. br>br> 6. b There will be no more tick tick tick as the timer winds down because this is a digital unit! You can turn off the ding at the end if you don't want it. br>br> br>br> br>br> br>br The backlight on the display panel is normally turned off, which is nice; it only comes on when you open the door and stays on for two minutes after you close it, giving you time to decide what you want to do and make settings. When it's turned on, it also has a backlight. br>br> br> br> br> br> br> The design of the glass inset in the door is the only major design flaw I can find with the unit. Other ovens had flush glass and metal doors, which prevented crumbs from collecting on the door. The glass on this unit has a lip around it to catch and hold crumbs when the door is open. Because the edge holds them in, they are difficult to wipe out. br>br> br> br> br> br> br> This unit's fan is extremely quiet and only turns on when convection is selected. br>br> br>br> br>br> br>br The metal on this gets quite hot, especially the bump out on the back that allows you to fit a fairly large pizza in there! As a result, make sure you have enough space and that the cord does not touch the back of the unit if you're going to put it on a counter. To keep the cord off the back of the unit, I used an offset adapter to have it go sideways rather than straight out from the outlet. br>br>At this time, I am satisfied with the unit and would recommend it to others, despite the door problem.

I really like it
5/5

Other toaster ovens that we've had in the past pale in comparison. It's well worth the extra money. It's been used to cook steaks, chops, and chicken. The best feature is that when you select various cooking options (bake, broil, etc. ), a preset time and temperature display for that function is displayed. The presets are perfect, and the inside is super easy to clean. Despite heavy use, the inside still looks brand new. It's small on the outside, but it's big on the inside, so it's a good buy. It will not be a mistake!.

Don't take our word for it: the reviews are all 5 stars! I'm one of those people who reads the first page of a book every time
5/5

When considering a purchase, look at the star ratings first to see what the worst case scenario is. That put me off buying a toaster oven for a long time, but when this model was on sale for a (small) discount, I decided to take a chance and have been very happy with it. It has a neat appearance and takes up little space on the counter - However, it is large enough to bake a 12-inch pizza. It has simple settings that appear to cover all of your cooking needs. It would be nice if it had an interior light and a shelf that slid out automatically when the door was opened, as others have mentioned, but those are minor annoyances. When used, exterior surfaces become warm to the touch, but the glass door appears to be the only one that radiates heat outward. Cleaning it is a breeze. I am extremely pleased with it and would strongly advise others to do so.

Convection is a great choice
4/5

We swapped out a 15-year-old computer with a new one. year- We replaced our old Cuisinart toaster oven with this one and are largely satisfied. Only flush push-button controls were used in the previous model. This one, on the other hand, has a nice dial as well as six more traditional soft-touch buttons. buttons that can be pressed I deducted a point for "Easy to use" because reading the tiny print on those buttons is difficult, and using the controls is a pain. To select a function, first rotate and push the knob, then press a button to select the functions you want to adjust - Shade (for toasting), Time, and other factors - and then adjust those with the knob once more. However, it has served me well thus far, with the exception that the toasting can be uneven at times. Ours is white to match our other white appliances (which are becoming increasingly rare), but the top is stainless steel. This is fine because it is hidden beneath the low cabinet. But, more importantly, it will last longer. One of the main reasons we decided to replace it was because the old one had white paint that cracked and flaked over time due to repeated heating and cooling.

Perfectly bakes a buttermilk biscuit from scratch
5/5

I just got it, so I can't comment on it for the time being. br>I was looking for a toaster oven with a consistent temperature. I've tried a lot of them, and until this one, none of them could bake a homemade buttermilk biscuit without it either burning on the outside or not cooking through on the inside. For me, this is going to be a true test. In my opinion, if it bakes a biscuit perfectly, it's a good oven, and that's exactly what I did with it. I made toast as well, but I went with the lighter option. I also baked a frozen chicken patty and a potato cake in the second position, and they turned out just as well as they did in my large oven. I went with the white and chrome, and it looks great in my kitchen. I also like how compact this oven is, and how it sits in a caddy corner on my counter, which is ideal because it allows for more space between it and the back of my counter. I went ahead and painted the small indicator buttons with clear nail polish, as suggested by some other reviews. Also, I'm no expert when it comes to computerized appliances, but I had this one set up and running in under 15 minutes. It's very simple, and I've already set the timer. There was no need to ask one of the kids! We'll have to wait and see how it holds up in the future. Right now, it's doing exactly what it's supposed to be doing. There is one gripe. I wish there was a light in the oven!.
