I had ordered a different set from another seller and the glasses were broken upon arrival, so I returned it in exchange for another set, which also arrived with broken glasses, so I received a refund and ordered from this vendor instead, everything was tightly sealed and not damaged, and my husband likes it for the most part. The only issue and reason for the lower rating is that he has stated that the whiskey stones do not work as well as they should in terms of cooling his drink, even after being frozen overnight; however, this is not a problem because we simply keep the glasses in the freezer.
The sword glass version was the one I purchased. I was pleased to see how well the items had been packed when they arrived. They were delivered in a well-packaged storage box. I'm still astounded by their durability. The glasses aren't thin, and they feel like I could drop them and they wouldn't break (no, I'm not going to try it; they just feel that solid). I've had several glasses of whiskey (rye, scotch, and bourbon) in one or both glasses so far. They did exactly what they were supposed to do: they held the liquid and let me sample the gods' nectar. They did it, however, with panache. They're simply attractive. br>The whiskey stones are also effective. When I opened the package after delivery, I cleaned them and put them in the freezer to keep them cold. I haven't used the coasters yet because I haven't had the opportunity (we already have coasters around the house), but they kept their cool and chilled the whiskey as they were supposed to without watering it down like ice. But, this summer, when I'm sitting by the pool, I'm going to bring them out. The ice tongs will work fine, but I'll probably just use my fingers to get the stones or ice from the freezer, as I did with them. Overall, this is a fantastic collection! This is something I would recommend to anyone who enjoys whiskey. The glasses and stones, in my opinion, added to the drink's overall quality. I'll send the link to the set to a few people I know because I'm confident they'll appreciate the quality of the glasses and the entire set. Thank you so much for a fantastic product!.
This was purchased as a raffle prize for a good cause. It was a prized possession. The glasses are very comfortable in the hand, and the box creates a lovely atmosphere.
