The lid does not fit on them. Likewise, they do not fit the lids I own for other brands of travel cups (for oggi, polar arctic, and mossy oak). are great for keeping a drink cool and are great for use on the deck or in the backyard.

During the course of my purchase, I have acquired around 20 cups and none have shown It would make a great gift. In addition, I engrave my name on the bottom of the cup after it has been finished with its wood. A grinding attachment on a dremel makes it fast and easy. I could see this as a great gift idea. Buy the cup, etch something to it, and now you have a gift you can use for years to come.
This item is a wonderful find. I bought them when I traveled recently for work and I wanted to get scotch and a cigar outside my hotel room but I did not want to take scotch in a crappy hotel cup. They work perfectly too! I wouldn't mind having some wine with that. If you do not clean them out the night you use them, you will be able to see rust and stains I highly recommend this purchase! A quick update The cups aren't bad, but they sweat when you use ice with them. I've been using these for about a week now, and I like them, but they sweat a lot when you use ice with them. The Johnnie Walker Black on the rocks I like is incredibly sweaty and every time I use it, they really sweat. The downside is that this is a big downfall.

My search for a solution ended here. By replacing the plastic kids' cups with these, we don't have to worry about them breaking a glass when they take their cups outside.
