In the world of spoons, why would anyone bother writing a review? Please consider what I am saying. The stainless steel spoons my parents used every day were Zebra Thai brand spoons, which my parents use for decades. It was only natural that my brothers and I had come to greatly admire and love them (as did our own families). It's time to give a special shout out to Zebra silverware - I have known them since the 1990s and they are part of my family. We turn to them for everything The spoons are waiting!

PROS - Steel (Type 430) that is food grade -* A moderately high resistance to corrosion
- A coating that resists rust- A magnetic grade is lacking (Type 304, the most popular grade, lacks this property)
Useful for a variety of purposes - If you have a sharp edge, you can make quick work of practically anything- The knife is useful as a steak knife, fruit slicer, and ice pick.
- The grip is easy to hold - A decent amount of soup is scooped up
- Edges that are thin - It is easier to put food into the mouth without spilling liquid like with thick spoons, so it is more convenient. This product is surprising good for children to use - We prefer this spoon to ceramic ones, too. Our kids and nephews love it. A shatter-proof material that will last a long time. Previously I've used it to chip ice or scoop ice cream that had been removed from the freezer straight from the freezer*. The metal spoon will not break or crack when dropped onto the ground as will ceramic spoonsbr>- It stacks and stores away very easilybr>- The spoons take up far less space than many other types of spoonsbr> This product is small, portable, and lightweight. Easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and a great deal of fun. Soup spoons made of ceramic do not have the same comfort as those made of ceramic their edges are sharper - A metal surface can easily absorb heat if left in a searing liquid for too long (metal absorbs heat easily)*- There was a possibility that it would deform after prolonged use, however only a few of them did over decades of use- They are usually bent back to normal shape after a while and I continue to use them for years*- Stainless Steel Type 430 is not the best grade, but it is still an acceptable material for a variety of applications The corrosion resistance of this product is very high. It is better to have a lower number. Most people are familiar with type 304 that is the best-known steel grade. There was the possibility that rust stains could develop, but it had been extremely rare

WHO IS THE Satien Stainless Steel Public Company, based in Thailand, is the manufacturer of Zebra (Head). A company website indicates that Satien Youngvanich founded the company in 1968 with scraps of stainless steel from his commercial welding job, which turned into the spoons our family has loved for nearly 50 years. I can remember that my parents bought me these Zebra Thai spoons whenever I was a kid. Once my parents first started raising their families, they used to drive all the way to Los Angeles to purchase them. Once I had my own family, I asked them if they could get some for me. The last time they gave me spoons was when they gave me a red box containing six spoons, and I immediately snapped a photo to identify the manufacturer The Zebra Thai language. My wife and mother - both westernized - grew up in their own house Our families have all moved away from the elegant silverware of the United States to this no-frills, versatile Thai one. It is also telling that my children had consistently reached for the same spoons the way my parents and I have. This speaks well of the versatility, ease, and quality my parents and I had enjoyed for generations. This spoon is a great buy! If it didn't become evident yet, we would highly recommend it! You should give them a try!.

I don't know what to expect, because those spoons are absurdly shallow. How the hell are you supposed to expect a clumsy toddler or child to keep the liquid in the spoon before he or she swallows it?

It is made out Thus, I do not have to worry about them cracking when my child drops them on the floor, and I do not have to worry about the leaching of chemicals from plastic spoons (since they are used with warm soup often).
- Liquid holds well! My child ends up with less liquid in the bib trough or on him, but as a result, more liquid is I'm so glad! Please note
The following would seem oddly suitable for young children It may seem odd that these toddler spoons are much larger than usual, but they are fairly light, and they have a wide enough handle for clumsy little fingers. An edge that is smooth Don't worry about this cutting your child's mouth as the spoons are thick enough with relatively polished edges, so don't worry about them cutting your mouth as well

Oh, and they are really useful for adults also, of course).

Although it may seem odd to write a review of a spoon, I genuinely enjoy these things so here it is. Approximately 20 years ago, I bought some spoons in Bangkok that looked the same as these. Over the years, a few have gone missing and a few got mangled in the garbage disposal, so I had about 5 left. All those years ago, I bought these spoons from Carrefour in Bangkok, they are the exact same spoons I bought from Amazon. It's my favorite type of spoon for eating soup, and I love it for eating soup. Chinese style soup spoons feel good in your mouth compared to ceramic or plastic Chinese style soup spoons as they hold a lot of liquid at once. You can't go wrong with the price of just over fifty cents each, can you?.

I've had these spoons for a couple years and I find them much more comfortable to use compared to their plastic counterparts. While my preference still lies with ceramic, the fact that they are expensive, beautiful, and that I tend to use them for special occasions does not change that much. It is easy to clean, and so far they have proved to be a pretty durable item (I have run them through the garbage disposal and they have held up well), so it is nice to have them around all the time for tasting or everyday use. The spoons don't get super hot after being dipped into a hot soup, which is nice. However, after a few years of handling, a couple of them are starting to tarnish (see photo). would also prefer that they were hooked, as the small handle tends to capsize into soup if you do not watch it. Although the price is pretty high, I am pretty happy with what they have done, and have even bought them as gifts for others.

My favorite spoon is this one. The products I use daily are great! In your local Asian store, you can find stainless steel Rocket band ones that are both lighter and better built than these. The spoons are also slightly smaller than the typical melamine ones, but they do not stain or break like melamine, and they can last a lifetime.
These spoons are multifunctional, durable, cheap, and take up very little space in your pantry. There's nothing not to love about it, is there? You just can't go wrong with these spoons.
