It has a nice length and fits comfortably in your hand. This was ordered to replace an old one whose handle had come apart, and it is made of solid metal. What I like best about it is that the forked spoon part is wider and rounder than the ones I've had before, and it picks up noodles more easily. I used it to serve lo mein that I had made, and it picked up the noodles and other ingredients instead of them falling off. I am very pleased with my purchase.
I like that it's all one piece, with no visible seams or rivets, but the edges are a little sharp, and it doesn't have the same feel as my other utensils from another brand. I also bought a ladle, which is of similar quality.
The ladle came first, followed by the slotted spoon, and finally the pasta spoon. They're the best: sturdy, sleek, with nothing to break, ergonomic, easy to clean, and extremely attractive! I'm overjoyed to learn that there's also a spatula, and I'll be purchasing that as well.
It's tough, long-lasting, and ideal for cooking. It's exactly like the picture and it's held up well. I'll be buying more from this seller and maker in the future.
We were disappointed by this, despite the fact that it was sturdy. Long pasta gets tangled up in it and is difficult to remove/serve with, making stirring and separation difficult. We're getting rid of this one and replacing it with one that has a narrower/longer bowl.
This pasta fork is very nice and sturdy. Long enough to use in large stock pots while also being simple to clean. I like heavier kitchen tools, and this one has a nice weight to it.
This spoon is far superior to tongs or forks when it comes to portioning, moving, or serving pasta. It's also more balanced and comfortable to use than most kitchen tools.
I had been looking for a metal spaghetti spoon to use when we go camping and use a propane stove, and this one appears to be very nice. A plastic one droops, so I'm hoping this one will be far more effective at draining the hot noddles! This one also appeals to me because it is angled downward.
