You don't want it to be too short or too heavy. In order to stop them from rattling, I plan to put felt in the bottom of the box. Since the box closes with a click, I won't have to worry about it opening on the move. My heart swells at the thought of.
The fact that these have held up so well is extremely pleasing to me. Please read *EDIT Recently, I got to use them to eat some chicken and rice I made and they are great! It has a really good grip, and the size is just about right for my tiny The delivery time and product appearance have led me to give these 5 stars, but I haven't had a chance to use them yet. -These went out earlier than I expected and I really like them! It pleased me that the case was not broken, as I had expected (by chance). One tiny problem I have is that the case does not snap tightly when I close it, but it really isn't a deal breaker since I won't be leaving it in my purse for long, even if I took it to a Chinese restaurant.
Despite this super cute design, the chopsticks were of poor quality - the packaging itself remained intact, but the carrying case (the small box to store the chopsticks in, which was the only reason I bought it in the first place) appears to have been On the surface of the top surface, there are cracks, and off to the side is a chunk of caulked back surface. In looking at it on a closer level, I see cracks on the bottom too, and one piece of plastic looks like it's about to crack. There was nothing impressive about this item and I would just suggest going to your local Asian goods store and getting a chopsticks carrying case.

The design on them is really cute and I like the textured grip. My feelings about the box are mixed, it is made of a thin plastic and the chopsticks flop around a bit inside, I wish there were grooves to keep them from rattling so much but the box arrived in perfect shape, there was no scratch or crack.
