These wine bottle stoppers are absolutely amazing. Even sparkling wines, which keep sparkling for at least a week (possibly longer, but wine doesn't last that long in my house! ), they have a nice tight seal. They're cute as well.
It's so adorable. I adore how tiny these items are. They're comfortable in my hand, and the bird's shape makes it simple to take out of the bottle. It fits snugly in the bottle and pushes down all the way. It isn't going to come out by itself. But don't hold your breath for miracles - For bubbly, it will fall short of a champagne stopper. (And it makes no pretense of doing so!). ) This is an excellent choice if you want a simple wine stopper that is also fun to look at for short-term use; if you drink expensive wines or have expensive vinegars you want to preserve, perhaps not. My purchase has left me extremely happy.
I usually go for the triangular bottle stoppers, which are terrible at preventing links and staying in bubbly beverage bottles. I can literally place one of these cute stoppers into a bottle of wine and lay it on its side anywhere and walk away, which solves ALL of those problems. These are of exceptional quality, and the bright colors make it easy to keep track of them. These are extremely durable and not at all flimsy. I'll definitely order a few more to have on hand as a backup.
These have made me so happy. They came beautifully packaged, which I will keep boxed, and they are very snug and leak proof, as you can see from the photos I have provided. I would strongly suggest it.
BUT, it's cute and it's functional. NOT PROOF AGAINST LEAKAGE! If you have no choice but to store your wine bottles on their sides (wine refrigerator), do so. BUYING THESE IS NOT A GOOD IDEA! If you're still using the original cork or a replacement cork, wine bottles only need to be laid on their side. Otherwise, bottles can be placed upright. Because these stoppers are tall, I had to put them on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator, where they just barely fit!.
They're cute, they prevent leaks, and they're a good price. They are my favorite. They're bright, cheerful colors that kept the wine from leaking when I turned it on its side. They're small enough that, if I have room in my fridge, I'll put them on the top shelf because they're not too tall. As a gift, I purchased a second set.
It's bright, functional, and easy to find in the kitchen drawers. It also holds up well after a lot of use. I'll definitely include it in stocking stuffer ideas for adults. We enjoyed the first two so much that we purchased additional bottles to use when entertaining, and we currently have several bottles of wine open.
