Questions & Answers

Is there any other way to use it? I need a place to put my coffee brewing bags while they brew iced coffee. ?

Since the rack fits inside a very large canning kettle, you must be brewing a lot of coffee, right? I haven't brewed even one cup of iced coffee, so this is just a guess on my part. Because canning necessitates the rack being immersed in boiling water, I believe it is capable of handling it. Maybe it depends on the size of your coffee bags and whether or not they'll fall through the rack? The only thing I'd think about is what's on the handles (added for gripping) and whether it'll impart a flavor or leach into your coffee.

It fits in the pot nicely, but the sides could be a little taller

This fits perfectly in my beer brewing pot, but larger diameters may benefit from slightly taller sides to keep jars contained as they are lowered into the water. But we've had a lot of use out of it this year, and it appears to be holding up well.

In my pressure cooker, I used this to pressure cook a huge turkey. When I took the turkey out, it fit perfectly. It's not what most people buy it for, but it did the job for me! I would strongly suggest it.
