Years ago, I used to have one. because I had a plug in my pantry (weird, huh? ) I kept it plugged in at all times and used it frequently. Is it true that it lasted approximately 6 years? It's so simple. There has never been an issue. That is why I am ordering a new one today.
I'm also limited to using only one hand. A wine bottle fits perfectly in the hole of a garbage disposal and is cushioned by the rubber collar. The corkscrew can then be used.
All you have to do is turn the trigger the other way, and the cork will unwind on its own. PEOPLE, LISTEN TO THE INSTRUCTIONS!
Rubber corks were not a problem for me. The rubber cork was removed from the device in the same manner as it was removed from the bottle.

I had an "I've got to have it" moment when I first saw this wine opener. Horrible customer service. Poor product. "I was in heaven after purchasing this item; opening wine bottles was a breeze, the foil cutter is fantastic, and I appreciate the opener's long battery life. I was so taken with this product that I purchased multiple copies as gifts for friends and family. After 6 months, the down button (which removes the cork from the bottle) stopped working, but I wasn't concerned because Oster aka Sunbeam Products aka Jarden Consumer Solutions has a 1 year limited warranty (as stated in the product manual). I emailed customer service about my problem, and three weeks later I received a response asking for more information in order to process the return. Another week passes without a response after I respond to the email with all of the requested information. I emailed customer service to confirm that they had received my email with all of my details, and they informed me that not only had they received my email, but that the product was "no longer covered under warranty. " I emailed customer service with the exact words from their manual stating that their product is covered by a one-year warranty, but I have yet to receive a response. So, if you're on the fence about buying this wine opener, look for something else. This isn't your cup of tea. This product, which I purchased in May, is already a lemon, to put it politely. For about six weeks, it worked fine, but now it refuses to open bottles. This means that nothing happens when you press the down button (which removes the cork). There was no sound, movement, or anything else. This device is also fully charged. br>br>I contacted the seller and asked for a replacement, but have received no response.

I'll do it after I've finished reading the instruction manual! I thought my was broken at first, but it turned out that I was doing it incorrectly! 1. br>br> Cut the wrapper with the included cutter (a small loop attached to the back of the charger stand).
2. APPLY STRONG PRESSURE TO THE WINE OPENER WHILE PRESSING THE DOWN arrow BUTTON AND HOLDING THE BOTTLE.
3. The cork will be out when the wine opener feels a little loose.
4. Remove the wine opener to reveal the bottle that has been opened.
5. To unlock the cork, press the upward arrow. br>br>BON APPETITE! br>br>BON APPETITE! br.
This is the third time we've had one of these, and I'll have to look for a different brand the next time. The first one was successful for a few years (2013-2015). We didn't replace it quickly after it stopped working (in 2014). After that, the next one worked for a year and we didn't replace it right away (our favorite wine has a screw top); It's only used once or twice a month. This one was purchased in June and stopped working in mid-July. It's kept in an inconspicuous location, is always plugged in, is clean, safe, and unreliable. My return period expired on July 1st, so I'm stuck with a nearly new device that doesn't work and no way of returning it. It performs admirably in terms of functionality. It isn't reliable in terms of reliability.
First and foremost, I'd like to state that this is my third Oster wine bottle opener, all of which are the same model. I had to buy replacements because the first one I damaged by inserting it crookedly into the cork, and the second I left in a hotel room carelessly. br>br>I had so much fun with this wine bottle opener that I came back to it. I believe it is reasonably priced for the quality of the product and that it performs its function quickly and effectively. It's a lot less difficult than the do-it-yourself approach. You'll have to work hard to open the bottle if you're one of these do-it-yourselfers! br>br>For some reason, the one I bought in late March 2017 won't hold a charge, even though I followed the user guide's instructions. When I try to use it, the cork takes a long time to come out of the bottle, and then the mechanism won't release the cork, forcing me to manually work it out, which is much more difficult than using a handheld. In terms of a return, the deadline has passed. You only have one month to send it back to Amazon. When I called Oscar customer service, there were six people on the line ahead of me, and I just don't think this product is worth the time and effort it takes to get a replacement warranty. Just give it a shot!.
After about ten years of accelerated and VERY CONSISTENT use, my old one finally broke! Because I loved it so much, I'm going to buy another one. I don't require the neon, beautiful models who perform a variety of tasks. All I want is for my wine to be opened as soon as possible. I'm happy to report that even after consuming many, many bottles of wine in one evening, this opener is simple to operate. To remove the cork, simply place it on the bottle and press the button. Then, if you still have any energy and motivation left, you can push the button in the opposite direction, causing the cork to pop out of the opener. It was even attempted on a beer can one night. On beer cans, however, it is less effective. This wine opener was not used to open a can of beer. For a friend, I'm writing this review. (wink) Amazon Prime and two-day shipping are a godsend!.
What should I do in order to obtain a replacement? It was great until it broke after a few months of regular use. Please let me know if you can make a replacement.
