That was my first cake ball, and I was really pleased with how they turned out! Using baking spray (with flour in it) does the trick and the cakes pop right out of the pan. After trying out different amounts of batter, and I felt that it worked better when I weighed down the top a little, it took a little trial and error to perfect it.
