This is a very nice pan. A light coating of cooking spray helped the cakes release easily. The pans aren't completely open in the middle, but only about half way, resulting in a small "well. " It's easy to make a neat frosting. It'll be difficult to fill, but it'll be enjoyable. The weight and quality of the pans are both good.
