Washing Machine Cleaner by Tide, Washer Machine Cleaner Tablets for Front and Top Loader Machines, 5 Count Box

Your washing machine will smell like someone threw a perfume bottle in it after using this product. The odor has spread throughout my house from my laundry room. I wanted a mold-fighting disinfectant, not a perfume that tried to mask the odor. I'm going to stick to simple, effective ingredients that aren't overpowered by perfumes. I'm so sorry I bought and used this. The remaining contents of the box will be discarded.

No one ever told me that I needed to clean my house once a month. There are many negative reviews on Amazon for these cleaners, and I tried other brands without success. br>br>This is a Proctor and Gamble product, and I doubt anyone is more knowledgeable about soap than they are. Whirlpool was another company I contacted. Whirlpool recommends using hot water and filling the tank all the way to the top with it. This clears any resado from beneath the water tank's top rim. They also suggested that you use baking soda and bleach. Both of them, as well as Tide Machine Cleaner, were used. (Keep in mind that I had never cleaned it before, and it smelled rancid. ) I reset the timer and ran the washer for six cycles with the same amount of water in the tank. The issue has been resolved, the clothes smell great, and our Whirlpool washer no longer has a strong odor. br>br>At the moment, we only use the Tide once a month.

Ok, I've read other reviews, including one on the manufacturer's website, that claim the odor is offensive. Certainly not! This smells amazing, and I wish real laundry detergent still smelled like this. When you're finished cleaning the washer, the room and washer both smell fantastic. It reminds me of the scented Tide detergent I used 20 years ago. We have about 80 rental washers in various properties that sit for long periods of time over the summer, and we use this to freshen the stale smell from that idle time. Unfortunately, most washer machines today are energy efficient, so hot and cold water are always mixed. The secret is to turn off the cold water supply so that the washer uses 100% hot water because this works best when the water is hot water because this works best when the water is Stay with the cycle because the rinse is never done with hot water, so the cycle will stall unless the cold is turned back on. You may need to run the washer again after cleaning to get rid of the debris that this product loosened.

This "cleaner" leaves a strong perfumy soapy odor that has lasted for five days so far. This is a very harmful and unpleasant product for anyone who suffers from allergies or asthma.

Consumers Reports recommended it, so I bought it. It's supposed to clean the washing machine, but it smells like hell. In a literal sense. Since using this product, I've run the machine three times and am still unable to remove the odor from the machine or my laundry room. Now I'm dreading putting my clothes in the washing machine.

We have an LG washer with a WiFi connection, model WM3900. We followed the Tide Tub Cleaner's instructions by placing the tub cleaner in the tub and running the hot water cycle as directed. We received an email shortly after from the LG Care center, which monitors the washer's performance, stating, "Our records indicate that excessive suds have been detected in your washer. " We contacted LG, who advised us to use 1/2 of the Tide Tub Clean Package and install it according to the LG Tub Clean instructions, i. e. To test it out, I purchased a discounted Tide washing machine cleaner. Unlike other brands' tablets, this is a powder that I pour into the tub of my Maytag Bravos MCT machine and run through the Affresh Cleaning cycle. It does a good job, but it leaves a very strong chemical odor that lingers for a day after use. After the cleaning cycle, there may be some minor mildew residue left in the tub, which indicates that the cleaner worked but that the machine was unable to completely flush it out after the final rinse. That can be fixed with another quick cycle or a damp paper towel wipe.
