This thermometer is by far the best and most accurate I've ever used; it measures exact meat temperatures in less than 7 seconds, making cooking a breeze. It easily fits into air registers for HVAC technicians. Within 12 seconds, it determines the exact temperature of the air. or less. I've been working in the HVAC industry for 17 years and this is by far the best thermometer I've ever used. It outperforms all others by a factor of ten.
When compared to other thermometers I own, it appears to be accurate, and it works well in the kitchen for measuring liquid temperatures. Previously, it was also used to check the internal temperature of a loaf of bread. Adjusts in a timely manner. Cleaning is a breeze. The magnet works well on the refrigerator.
It's convenient, but it's not the most precise device on the market. I have a few of these, and if you put them next to each other, they'll read about a degree apart. However, it's adequate for my requirements.
It was delivered quickly, but the accuracy was disappointing. It was almost two degrees in ice water in an insulated cup. 5 degs. off. I was hoping for a little more proximity.
It does what it says. It appears that this is correct. The only drawback is that it only moves a degree or two per second up or down. So, if you're going from room temperature to a hot pipe, it'll take about a minute to reach the pipe's temperature.
For the past 18 years, I've been using these in my business. There has never been a problem. I strongly advise you to.
It allows me to measure the temperature of the lake.
It's precise to a tenth of a percent. It measures my heat input and output quickly and accurately at 5 degrees.
